Great pub serving great food. Dog friendly too. Large portion sizes and served by staff who obviously love working there. So friendly and welcoming and we were given a bowl of meat for Milo as they had no dog treats left. Thoroughly recommend.
Just popped in on the way home for some dinner. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is second to none. I had the lamb shank and it was probably the best lamb shank I've ever had. And the roast potatoes were delicious with creamy mash and seasonal veg. Highly recommend going

We were curious and a little apprehensive about going knowing it had changed hands, but we given a warm friendly welcome and the food was brilliant. Thanks very much for making our girlie lunch a very pleasurable one we will definitely be back.

This is our favourite place to eat in Bawtry. It’s not just value for money, the food is delicious with a wide variety of choices to suit most tastes and diets. The service is prompt warm and friendly. Highly recommend the salted caramel and cappuccino roulade and the steak and ale pie. That said there are so many choices it’s difficult to choose! A fantastic, traditional pub (with not a bad gin selection too!), well worth a try!
Popped in for a meal last Saturday night. It has been beautifully transformed. The owners, Shaun and Phillip were very welcoming and the food was delicious👌Will definitely be back for more 👍

Absolutely lovely, friendly & welcoming staff. Great meals and good variety for everyone Inc vegetarian and vegan. Don't know whether there is a kids menu as I didn't ask but if not there is still plenty of choice from the main & extras menu. Dog friendly area in back room and staff are just as welcoming to them too. 100% recommend.
Nice meal. I had duck Brest with cherry sauce, followed by chocolate fudge cake. Well kept real ale. Friendly staff who are very efficient.
This is the first time my wife and I along with the brother in law and his wife have been to the ship and it will not be the last, the food was plentiful and piping hot with a good selection for your Sunday dinner and all the staff were very tentative and pleasant for all your needs . keep up the good work everyone, see you soon.

Hubby and I went today for lunch , we both had a mixed grill and it was so yummy , perfectly cooked meat . All at very reasonable price, friendly service 😍 highly recommend.
Came here with family and they only had limited menu due to gas pipe in kitchen wel what can I say food was amazing
Went today for an evening meal with my partner and didn't have a reservation yet they managed to squeeze us in, I do recommend booking as it can get busy here. We both ordered the rib eye steak with Diane sauce, the meal not only looked good but also tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly and asked several times if our meals were ok and if there was anything else they could get us. The reason I have given 4 out of 5 stars is because my partners steak had a large amount of fat in it compared to normal and she was not happy, this was brought to the attention of two members of staff who apologised but did no more. I would still recommend this place as other than my partners steak the food is great, staff are nice and friendly and they have a lovely outdoor seating area.
