Lovely cafe... friendly staff, gorgeous outside space. We had afternoon tea and sat under a big tree. Reasonably priced. Love being served in pretty cups... scones were homemade...✨
Lovely little tearoom, the ladies are soo helpful. My daughter has auto immune disease which means although not allergic, there are things her body can't tolerate and honestly, they were so helpful with this and didn't make her feel awkward or a nuisance! Been several times now highly recommended.
A spur of the moment phone call to arrange a birthday afternoon tea. They could not have been more accommodating. The table was laid when we arrived and looked amazing. The sandwiches were fresh and varied. And the cake stand was bending under the variety of cakes and scones. (All home made). Will b
I met a few friends for the morning in battlesbridge. We had bacon sandwiches and coffee at lunchtime. The food and drinks were excellent and the staff were lovely. I can't fault anything and will be coming back here with my wife.
Lovely cafe. Sandwiches were made fresh and delicious. Felt very welcome 😁
Had such a scrumptious afternoon tea to celebrate Mothers day with my daughter in law. The ladies in the Haybarn Tea rooms gave us such a warm welcome and they went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was amazing ! I would totally recommend a visit to this beautiful little tea room .
Wonderful Afternoon Tea today for birthday treat. Lovely selection of savoury sandwiches and rolls and amazing home made cakes and scones. Very friendly staff and as much tea as we could drink. Amazing!
A lovely friendly atmosphere the food was absolutely fantastic very fresh and all homemade cakes which we took home as they were so much to eat. I would say the best afternoon tea I had.
A good decent mug of tea, a typical small English tea room serving teas, coffee, soft drinks great cake and lunch. The ladies are lovely and this time of the year sitting outside looking across the crouch in the sun with friends. Lovely.
I booked a afternoon tea for my mums 60th birthday last week for 2 people. Unfortunately we went into the 2nd lockdown, i spoke with the owner a lovely lady (Joan i think her name was!), she was so accommodating. I was told i could move the date when lockdown had finished or get a full refund.... We
Great family run business. If I want a warm smile, great, freshly cooked food, this is where I’ll always choose locally. Homemade Cakes available too, expertly made.
Good coffee, great sandwiches, friendly service. All within the nice surrounds of Battlesbridge Antique Centre. Seating outside to enjoy of warm dry sunny days, otherwise, a few tables and chairs inside.
We visited recently and stopped for lunch. the food was great, good value and the cakes were delicious. Well worth a visit.
Decent cuppa, excellent selection of homemade cakes polite staff service with a smile. Sandwiches good too. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely tea room with great outdoors seating area. Cake was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly.
Great service. We enjoyed the food that we ordered. The owner is friendly & the staff were too. We're already planning on going back in the summer.
I took my nan here for afternoon tea. The food was beautiful and the staff were super friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this place 😊
Loved it, service a bit slow... but it was a Saturday sandwiches and scones were worth the wait. Lovely pots of tea too
