We were looking for a pub lunch and spotted this as we were driving and just pulled in. Welcomed by friendly staff and found a table for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children). Service was quick although the staff did forget a few things, like clearing the menus away and asking how my wife liked her
Absolutely perfectly delicious roast dinner.really friendly and polite staff, brilliant family run pub atmosphere with an inflatable bouncy in a well confined safe space. The menu isn't complicated or overly large which shows their commitment to getting what they do just right.
The Railway has a limited Sunday menu of 3 meat roasts or a Squash veggie option.The pork roast was decent .I would definitely recommend the chocalate brownie and ice cream for dessert

Visiting on a somewhat busy Friday night we were welcomed by the bar staff. The pub has a mixture of a bar only area, bar area with tables and a large restaurant area situated at the far end of the building. 1st visit this year. Father's day lunch. All the roasts were superb. Dad wanted his beef well-done, was not a problem. Becky was a very welcoming host. We'll be back k soon.

Went for a roast with the family on Sunday and was able to sit in their lovely beer garden! A lovely surprise and way to spend my parents anniversary today. A tardess of a pub with lovely service and a good size portion of roast dinner. Will be back and thank you for adding to the experience
I Was in the area. Unfortunately they don't serve food on a Tuesday. However the lady was super polite, friendly & welcoming. Just what you want from a pub.

We each enjoyed an excellent Friday night fish and chips. Special thanks to Becky for her bright and bubbly waitressing. Very dog friendly, as our lab/staff cross Betty would testify!

Brilliant for families - Just needs baby changing facilities âšī¸ Hand Pressed Beef burger was delicious and so was the Pork & Apple pie and mash. There are animals on site and a very friendly pub dog! They even got a 2 day old chick đĨ out to show our daughter. Service was very good.
