The Ash Tree Inn - Battle - Photo album

Lovely traditional pub located really in the middle of nowhere. A long winding drive, but worth the trip. There was a relaxed and warm atmosphere which was nice considering how awful the weather was outside. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The portions were decent but the quality just felt a
Cosy country pub, lovely and friendly. Food and ales both excellent. Will definitely return. Good menu and plenty of specials too. Which is why I'm going back to try more. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Cosy pub, nice atmosphere, very clean, friendly staff. Good selection of food and drink. Generous portions. Would recommend coming here.
Lovely pub in the middle of nowhere, with fantastic views. Not only was the food very tasty, but the portion sizes were like something from the good old days. I can't remember the last time I could barely move due to the satisfaction of a really decent pigout. Prices were also very reasonable.
Staff friendly and efficient - service excellent. I had roast lamb with all the trimmings, and mint sauce - the meal was just like a homemade meal. The Inn was quite crowded and everyone sounded very happy.
Had a wonderful family meal here. Food was excellent and not over priced. The staff were welcoming and always smiling, even on one of the hottest days of the year. Would definitely recommend The Ash Tree
A very friendly place with good food. We stayed over in our camping car in their car park and enjoyed the most wonderful views over woodland and countryside. A very special place.
Five hours down south and the food is worth. We were down visiting my family and we went to the Ash. You would have to know where you were going to get there and that would be your destination but it is so worth is the views are beautiful and the food is delicious. The service was good on food. Thou
A lovely traditional country pub which serves good food. Good service and a nice garden for a beer in the sun.
Wow what a lovely pub friendly staff and a lovely pint of Harvey's, set in a superb location overlooking the countryside with the South Downs in the distance well worth a visit
