I can not believe some of the bad reviews that I'm reading. Maybe when the pub is busy they can not cope. And things get too much for the staff. I and 3 family members had a meal here last Thursday 22/09/16. And we enjoyed it so much we returned this week. On both occasions I had fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection the way I requested it. The season vegetables were piping hot and crunchy. The chips also piping hot along with the onion rings. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Waited around 20 minutes for our meals. We also had a £5 off voucher which you can get quite easy if you go onto the website. I will be returning next week with family in tow. We all said the same fantastic food. 5 star.

I had a chickenburger - when the food arrived, I thought the portion wasn't big enough - I was wrong! The burger came with fries and coleslaw -all very nice. The service was very friendly too.

Great pub. Went in for some food, and although they didn't have what we wanted they pour a great pint of Guinness (almost managed to split the G, but it seems the table was slightly wonky :) ) Dog friendly pub too which I appreciate. Pool table, sport on the TV and gambling machines if you're feeling lucky!
