Had my baby shower at Gables cafe and couldn't recommend it enough! The food was amazing, the atmosphere and the preparation that went into it was fab, not a detail was missed X thank you for making it so special xxx
Ordered a meal for delivery yesterday and I have to say it was lovely! I have 2 children who are quite fussy eaters and they ate the lot! Will defo be ordering from here in the future and will recommend to everyone.
Had breakfast here this morning and it was lovely, perfectly cook, premises really clean and comfy, staff are friendly and very welcoming, they all made a point to say hello to my little girl which was really nice, would highly recommend and I'll be returning again soon xx

Little gem of a cafe, had the full monty breakfast, it came piping hot with toast and a cuppa. Couldn't fault it. All for the price of a coffee and bun in nearby York. Highly recommended.
Called in for Lunch had Hot roast Beef Sandwich and a Chicken and stuffing Bap we thought they were Amazing. Will definitely be returning. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.
Called in for a buttie while waiting to get unloaded at business next door and what a surprise, 2 lovely lasses. So friendly and welcoming really felt at ease. My sandwich was beautiful and excellent value, if I'm in the area again I'll be calling. Recommend to anyone.
Best spam I've had in a while, don't have to chase it around the bread. Lovely service and a really clean kitchen and dining area. Would definitely recommend!

At last a proper cafe.The cleanliness of the cafe,the very friendly staff,nothing was too much for the owner & staff,amount of filling in the ham salad sandwiches we had was worth every penny,nice clean mugs to drink from,NOT SILLY CUPS & SAUCERS.We'll return time & time again.The price of the great quality of food is unbelievable.please call & give it a try.
