Been to Snowcold loads of times. Red carpet shake is the best shake I have ever tasted! The cookie dough is perfect, the best I had! The premises are very very clean! The branding looks awesome and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Much better than all the other ‘standard’ desert bars that are around.
Visited SnowCold 3 times while down from Scotland to see family, and loved it every single time! The staff are so friendly and attentive to my 3 boys (all under 5), even giving the baby a taste of free ice cream (which he loved given he’s only just started solids this last week �). The banoffee cookie dough was delicious and the ice cream served with it really really nice (and I don’t usually like vanilla ice cream at all!). The jam rolypoly and custard, the double chocolate ice cream, the snow shakes were also amazing! Far superior to the local desert place we have at home, I’ll miss you guys �. The tables and dining area was very clean and the atmosphere relaxed - perfect for a family trip out with the children. They even had balloons �. Would highly recommend. Thank you SnowCold for being a highlight of my trip �

Came Saturday 24th February having chosen to ignore the bad reviews. So glad we did!!! This place is amazing. Desserts to die for. My kids chose a waffle and a fondu both good value. I personally wasn’t keen on the ice cream but it’s not a fault as I’m fussy about what ice cream I like. Both kids devoured their desserts and there was just enough for me to sample. It’s a thumbs up from us. Spotlessly clean and the coffee was nice too

Wow!!!! Service, A***. We were let down by a certain creamery in Wakefield last minute for my daughter’s birthday, and SnowCold (which we had never been to) treated my daughter like a princess!!! The staff were so nice!!!! It was a bit of a drive, but WOW!!
Food, A***. Reasonably priced beautiful desserts, tasted like heaven and huge!!!
Atmosphere, A***. Subtle music, warm and airy room with laughter and happiness being the main noise over the sound of the music!!
Please visit this place! Ample parking too which is a nice surprise!! Our new dessert place!! Other creameries need to use SnowCold as a template for success!

I think Batley is most certainly becoming my fave food place - their food scene is just a gift that keeps on giving.
If you’re in the area and have a bit of a sweet tooth, i definitely recommend coming here.
You know how harsh and critical when it comes to dessert so when I say its worth a visit, I mean it.
The gelato here is definitely superior to ice stones and even heavenly desserts. Much more smoother, richer and creamier and packed full of flavour.
I’ve been a few times now and this time I was pleased to find new additions of french patisserie items - if i had i space, i would definitely have tried more than one but on this occasion i went for the pistachio opera cake - and oh my god - this did not disappoint. Super soft and moist genoise sponge. Usually buttercream tends to be super sweet on cakes from dessert places but the one on this one resembled my own. This cake was not only presented beautifully but each layer just was nailed perfectly. If you’re not allergic to nuts i say go for it. It was a generous portion and as it’s so rich its almost impossible to finish. I ate half, took a tea break and then couldn’t resist polishing off the rest!
My elder daughter had the cookie dough, she thoroughly enjoyed it and my younger one had shake which she loved.
Overall i believe the food is fresh, tasty and the portion sizes are generous and good value for money. There is ample seating and the staff were warm, welcoming and looked genuinely happy to be there.
You scan a QR code on your table for the menu and then head to the till to make your order & pay first. There is so much to choose from!
I’ll definitely be popping back to try some more of those french desserts!

Visited with my daughters and husband tonight for the first time. Lovely little place. Nice decor. Clean and tidy. Great selection of desserts for every taste and the staff were incredibly polite. They even gave us a glass of water when we asked for one which is unheard of in dessert places.
Large portion sizes and every dessert we had was delicious.
Plenty of parking outside which was a bonus. We will definitely be visiting again.
The only downside was I only had room for one dessert when another two (or three) had caught my eye 🤣. Oh well… next time.

Me and my family decided to visit here after our dinner. We we’re not disappointed!
We were greeted with friendly staff who immediately showed us a table for our party of 12. The children were given a complimentary balloon! We ordered a variety of deserts and they arrived promptly. I had the royal jasmine green tea and the apple crumple with custard. They were both delicious, the tea came in a cast iron root with a timer on the side so I could choose how strong I wanted the tea to be.
I look forward to visiting again!

Went down to the famous Snowcold as it was highly recommended by a few friends. Me and my friends got some desi tea however there was too much cardamon added and tea became very strong. On the upside we told them and in return we got it replaced instantly. Their milkcakes are 10/10 and jam rolly polly! Brilliant customer service.

Many thanks to T and the chefs for making me pancakes with no sugar no syrup just plain. Quite possibly the best pancakes I have had so far.
We had a party of 17 people, both children and adults, I went in 5 mins early and asked for the family room, the staff were very friendly and helpful. She arranged for more tables and chairs to accommodate us all. We ordered at different times as the family members arrived, yet all the delicious desserts were served together as requested.

Loved the range of desserts here. So many to choose from. We got the lotus affogato and salted caramel and toffee gateaux with a Turkish delight ice cream. All desserts were of the highest quality and tasted so good.
Plenty of seating and parking on site. Definitely recommend this for desserts. Not much of a dessert lover any more but this one will be my ‘go to’ from now on.

Been here a couple of times now and what can I say other than wow. The kids absolutely love the atmosphere. Then there's the staff they are so polite and respectful. The desserts are another level. Top quality ingrediants and the presentation have a look at the photos attached.
