After having such a high standard of chippys in Edinburgh and among my favourites are the fish market and city restaurant, I’m quite particular when it comes to my fish suppa. After reading some reviews of Gerry’s I was on the fence about trying it this evening and was about to settle on some wings
Been looking for a good take away in Bathgate, was told to try here, came in with my mum this evening. (I was having a bit of a bad afternoon/evening so had to leave while mum ordered. Food always makes the mood better though)

All the way from Sheffield to Bathgate. Can’t rate this shop enough!!! Plus they make amazing sauces!!
The foods nice enough, but they are stingy with their curry sauce and you have to pay for a small tub of chilli to go with the donner meat. Normally you would get a wee tub with the meat and pay for additional.
Mixed kebab (without the doner) is the best I've tasted, burgers and pizza are delicious too!
The best chippy Bathgate has ever had–for pure taste and value, Gerry's is miles ahead of its competition, past and present.
Plenty of staff to keep your wait time down, reasonable price, well packaged (ensuring your food is still hot and fresh when get home) and always a massive selection on offer

Came here years ago and enjoyed the food so came back as I was in the area. Still great food. Very clean and modern, and well thought out corporate image. Great chippy 👍
Always a reliable chipy! People are friendly and helpful. Delivery's are pretty quick too
Friendly staff, special fish and chips were good (not excellent but still definitely better than some others I've had!) and the pizzas smelled amazing, going back to try their pizza soon!
