Beautiful dining room which has a great atmosphere, but due to the design each table feels quite private. The service is really good with friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent, absolutely superb. A perfect place for evening dinner.

What amazing hotel and cafe in the heart of historic Bath, England. This town is charming and quaint and the Empire hotel is a great place to post up for your holiday.

The food had a great taste and they had a wide selection on the menu from dressed crab through to burgers. Visited with family on a Sunday and I enjoyed their roast beef dinner. Impressed with the layout and decor. The tables were well spaced making in more intimate and where we sat had large curved high backed padded seating which also added to the intimacy and also made the restaurant fairly quiet. Many old pictures and images of Bath were hung on the walls. Our family had a great time there.

Went here for dinner & drinks and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. The drinks made by the excellent mixologist Marc at the bar are amazing. I had the watermelon spritz, the summer berry drink and they were both incredible. The berry drink tasted a bit like cotton candy which I love. Nic our waitress had excellent recommendations and the dish I ended up getting was cooked perfectly and a very generous portion. The atmosphere is also very classy and decorated nicely. Would be a great place for a special occasion or casual depending on which room you want to dine in.

The Architect is a beautiful restaurant located under The Empire Hotel in Bath. I visited on a Sunday early-evening, and it was relatively quiet, but in a pleasant way. I ordered the Mixed roast, beef (served pink) and porchetta with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, crackling and apple sauce. It was honestly the best decision, and worth the price tag. The only let down would be the lack of service we received. We had our food delivered, and then didn't see our server until we picked up the bill. Despite that, I highly recommend a visit here for Sunday dinner if you get the opportunity.

beautiful unique place, spacious yet cozy, smooth and friendly service, nice cocktail and wine. My sunday roast, roast beef was very disappointing, overdone not pink, potatoes overcooked, flat and uninspired dish. wife's (curry) and kids' (bacon and fishcake) dishes were tasty.

Came here for Sunday lunch. Beautiful interiors, the whole place is so 1930s decadent. Service so lovely. I had the veg roast which was great, really tasty gravy! Only marked down 1* as the food was a bit slow (35 mins from ordering) but the waiters did get us out bill ASAP so we made our slot at the Baths.

My mom and I cane here for a evening meal on our last night in Bath. I wish we had come here last night too. The food is incredible! We both had the lamb and we both highly recommend it. The service is impeccable also. If I could give it 10 stars I would. You must go!

Great time at The Architect today. We were 8 adults and 3 children. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, great service and tasty food. Great knowledge and awareness of allergens. Would definitely recommend and visit again soon.

We had a family Sunday lunch here. Besides the choice of roasts there were a choice of more traditional pub meals. A GF menu covered all of the family needs. Excellent sized portions with beautifully prepared food. We weren't rushed but still ran out of time as trains had to be caught. Not too expensive and worth every penny.

I brought my wife to Bath for her birthday over Christmas, and we booked a table at The Architect for our final meal of the stay. I can say without a doubt the place is just as stunning as it looks in the photos. The main dining area has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants we’ve ever eaten in. Very classy, but not pretentious in the slightest. Stylish, yet comfortable. This is technically a gastro pub, but it really goes above and beyond. I can not stress enough, the wife and I love our food, it takes a lot to really impress us (not meaning to sound like a knob), but this place gave us a meal that went straight into our top 5 meals out in the UK of all time. It was THAT good. We had two starters, two mains, a dessert, a couple of pints, coffee, and a soft drink and it was just under £100 inc. service. Very reasonable indeed for the quality of food, great service, and amazing ambience. If you go to Bath, you just MUST eat here, it’ll be the most wonderful of treats. Thank you so much.

As you walk up to the venue, you can't help but be impressed by its size & glory. I can't remember what it used to be, but today it is an outstanding restaurant. From the moment we walked in, staff were attentive, without being fussy - something I appreciate. We were shown to our table and started the decision process. There are a fair few veggie options on the, daily changing, menu which is always good to see. I decided on the tomato and mozzarella salad, with leek and potato quiche to follow. Both dishes were superb. The salad I couldn't have enjoyed more. Beautiful fresh mozzarella, heritage tomatoes in a gazpacho that was delightful. Quiche was served just warm. Not an easy task to manage, I'm sure. Beautifully presented with both a green and potato salad. This isn't the cheapest of venues in town, but you do get food value for money. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Great venue, food was really nice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's very spacious and well maintained. The drink choices are decent. From where we were sat, the views or pulteney bridge were nice. The prices are a bit more upmarket. It's a few minutes walk from the train station.

We booked late and were accommodated even though we arrived early. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the bar staff were very knowledgeable and expertly advised my wife on what was a new gin for us and also let me have a taster of one of the Bath Ales which went down well. The food was of an excellent standard and came piping hot. Desserts to die for. Thank you all for a very pleasant evening.
