Amazing fish and chips! Perhaps the best I’ve ever had yet. Despite being a takeaway only establishment, upon arriving home an hour later, the fish is still hot and crispy enough. Scampi tastes so great!
The chips does get a bit soggy due to the added vinegar but still great too!
Really friendly guy who served us the most delicious fish and chips! Lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices for wonderful takeaway food. Will definitely be back!
Since I moved to Bath I’ve been somewhat of a regular over the last two years and the food has always been consistent. In my books it’s the best fish and chips takeaway in Bath!
Both fish and chips are cooked to perfection. None of this soggy chip business. Owner is super friendly and always greets
Really authentic fish & chips. Had The haddock and cod and chips. Enough to feed 4. Chips the next day were just as good. Lovely owners that take a real pride in their business.

My husband and I were visiting Bath from Australia. As Aussies we love our fish and chips but we enjoyed Golden Plaice so much I couldn’t not leave a review because these are the best fish and chips we’ve had! First time having chips with curry sauce too and, yum.
