Best coffee I’ve had on my European trip. Roasted in Bristol , attention the to the art of coffee making is spot on. Smooth lovely Cortado and Cappuccino. Very nice ambience and lovely staff. Had an almond croissant also which was excellent. I hope to come back here. Highly recommended if you are serious about espresso drinks.

We have just spent a few days in Bath and went here three times. A very welcoming atmosphere, excellent coffee and delicious cakes. The muffins were particularly good because I often find them to be too dry, but these were delicious. I wish I had somewhere like this just round the corner from my home!

I have lived in Bath with my dog Molly for 3 years. And without question this is my favourite cafe in all of Bath. The coffee and the pastries are excellent, the atmosphere is always relaxed and happy and the service is just wonderful. I love that they’re so doggy friendly - Molly my labradoodle loves it here. Claire, Lily, Monica and all of the gang are so welcoming and friendly - coming here for my morning coffee is the highlight of my day. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town - combine it with a gentle walk along the canal. You won’t regret it!

A really lovely place and fair prices too. We enjoyed our late morning breakfast on the way to the Holburne museum. This is clearly very popular with local residents, and we can see why. It had a nice atmosphere.

Friendly, welcoming and delicious coffee and cake in abundance. A real local gem, this cafe is buzzy and busy (so you may have to wait for your drinks for a couple minutes - but take a moment and read a mag or look out the window as there is always something going on!) We love the atmosphere, the decor and the fact Dexter's is super dog-friendly so it's a great spot for a decent coffee to take on a dog walk on the neighbouring canal or Skyline walk. A local gem.

Lovely little café. Calming atmosphere with beautiful light. Staff are friendly and considerate without being too imposing. Coffee is high quality and the flapjack was banging. 👌

Loved coffee; nice raspberry lemonade: nice friendly staff. Simple, cool vibe with Tunnock’s tea cakes & seats outside

I met two chums here, for a New Year catch up stayed about 2 hours. During the morning we had 2 coffees each plus free water. You order at counter then have table service with a smile. Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. We were not hassled to move on or buy more and will definitely come again. I aim to try the cakes next time - they looked delicious!

Stumbled across this absolute gem while walking along the canal. I cannot more highly recommend them, not only for their coffee and treats but for their outstanding friendliness, warmth, and positivity! Can't wait to visit again!

A few minutes from Bath City Centre, this new independent cafe is well worth a visit. Great coffee & recommend the spinach and potato rolls!

We came up from Exeter for the weekend to see some friends. Upon looking for some quality coffee, Dexter's appeared and the aesthetic made me want to go as soon as possible. We went on Saturday morning to get a drink and the staff welcomed us with beaming smiles, a willingness to make conversation and recommendations on their products and where to go in Bath. We honestly could have stayed all day. We went back the morning after to buy their sweet little bobble hats as it was a brisk day. Whenever I'm in Bath, this will always be my first stop. Thank you to the team for making the cold mornings a lot warmer.

Excellent small non chain coffee shop. Coffee was great, cake was fantastic. They also like dogs and are happy for them to come into the cafe. If your dog needs a drink, just ask.
