I usually shop at Marks and Spencer's when I'm in the UK, but after visiting a local museum, I happened to be nearby, so decided to pop in!
There's no cost of living crisis here as the shop was packed!
I was slightly nervous with higher costs, but it wasn't too bad. In fact, since it was a Saturda
Clean and well stocked.
Self scan checkouts work well and is highly recommended to avoid the queues at busy times.
Prices were always higher than other supermarkets, but now getting to the eye watering stage.
Still, the perception is that quality of food is high.
Great shop with quality products.
Good parking for bath shopping centre
My visit was great, and if you like liver pate, the goose pate was the best I've ever had. I believe I can not find this one in USA.
Really nice example of a Waitrose. The store is laid out intuitively with plenty of space for carts. Lots of different departments from flowers to chocolate. Well maintained and a car park attached (albeit paid).
Nice large store not too busy, kiosk can be slow usually only one member of staff manning

Excellent Waitrose in bath. We don’t book breakfast if we are staying in a hotel we just come to Waitrose because we know the breakfast here is fantastic.

Great experience a couple of weeks ago when one of the team helped our 2 year old who was causing some mischief in the shop. We later saw her again and she gave him a gingerbread man which he was ecstatic about - pretty much made his day! Unexpected but nice touch - a big thank you
