Quiet pub in town with a pool table. Only popped in for a couple of pints. All good, no problem going back. Nice, small outdoor area to the rear

Such a lovely place to be. Felt so welcomed by the staff and also the various regular customers in the pub- had a lovely game of pool too on the pool table in the main room! Also enjoyed an Inch's cider, which many central bath pubs don't offer (they usually only offer thatchers gold or haze, which annoys me as we are still in Somerset in Bath!!!) All in all I loved it here, as much as if not more than I did when I visited a year or so back! 10/10 on atmosphere, kindness, hospitality, facilities... Now my favourite pub in Bath as of today❤️😊

Really nice little pub, very clean and tidy, decent choice of bar snacks, drinks on tap or in bottles, pool table and dart board with an outside seating area that's well taken care of. Barmaid was very welcoming too, thank you.

A brilliant pub, that hold's such dear and happy memories ! I was lucky enough to be part of the team to open the Bath Spa Hotel in 1990, and this fantastic pub became our local ! Was reminiscening of such good times and so glad you are still going strong. I wish you all well, for the future during these difficult times. I highly recommend this pub for a good pint and good food, for anyone, staying in Bath !!! 30 years has passed now, but you hold a special place in my heart as many a great night was spent in the Barley Mow ! My very best regards to you all and keep going ! Brilliant pub !!!

A really nice 'old style' inner city local pub. On the Cask-Marque Ale trail with some justification, the Otter this day was perfect and the warm Scotch Eggs are worth investigating, very spicy. Watched the England/Australia rugtby game, in a not crowded bar. Friendly locals and land-lord. Worth a visit

Always a good pint in the Mow. Great atmosphere. Best pub in Bath for a carvery roast on a Sunday. Can't beat there Roasts and comes with plenty of meat on the plate.

Proper little local, lovely people and a chilled vibe always, no food though, there's restaurants for that in town 😉

What a rush, my head feels light, and my hands heavy. Clearly this place has been designed by Jenny Prankster. Toppility turvy glasses and sofas with teeth marks in. I’m in for a treat. The curry club, wow wee. So spicy my bum burns thinking about it. But my god is it tasty. Like a sexy fire dancing on my tongue. The vibes here remind me of childhood, lots of men and lots of beer. Those were the days. Time hop! Bye bye Saxons, Bon voyage Romans. Hello Tony the bullet dodger. Why do they call him that? Dodges bullets doesn’t he. Quite the riot of a man. Promised he’d teach me the piccalo in exchange for me winning a game of pool. In conclusion, this pub reminds me of a dream I once had. Peter Kay was chasing me around a meadow with a pointy stick, trying to get me to shave his back. All in all 10/10.

Hospitable welcome to a genuine pub, complete with authentic ale and landlord. The courtyard is a bonus, and the barsnacks(inc homemade scotch eggs) not to be missed..

Small garden and friendly service. Perfect for a drink on a hot summer's evening - which was just what we wanted.
