Came to do some work here This is warm cosy pub with a great community feel.. serves hot food and had 2 accommodation rooms for guests. Opens at 12pm not 9am as currently advertised lots of locals were in today... Dog friendly pub with very friendly staff... Exceptionally clean throughout and very tastefully decorated... It's got a quiet lounging area by the open fire 🔥🔥 ideal for them cold winter night.. Very large carpark with a Huge covered outdoor seating area. Nice atmosphere during my time on site Also shows live sports.

Pleasant stay, friendly staff, would definitely go back if we ever found ourselves needing to stay in that area of the world again. Local Co-Op and Premier just a minute walk up the road. Clean and tidy room and standard tasty pub grub. You're staying in a side building connected to the pub which has two rooms and a little kitchenette, there was occasionally some noise from patrons hanging out the front, but it's a pub, it would be unreasonable to expect anything else.

Been here last week. What a gorgeous pub in absolutely gorgeous village. A nice place to go for a city getaway. The food here is absolutely smashing. You can tell the chef's here love their craft and put their love and soul into the food. My favourite one from the dishes I had here certainly is the steak. Seasonal menu, local produce, lovely food. Definitely a must to visit at least once per season. The staff here certainly love their job, love to welcome their guests and very welcoming. The beer garden is clean and just amazing to drink in underneath the sun during the day, and then during the night stargaze at the stars.

Had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday roast at the Seven Stars in Timsbury. Roast's can sometimes be a bit hit or miss when dining out in a pub, but this experience was a giant HIT! What a stunning dinner, a very plentiful portion with lots of variety and everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. Four of us dined, all having roasts. Four very full bellies & very happy faces. The pub atmosphere was also excellent with kind, polite helpful staff, making the whole experience very enjoyable. Great selection of drinks available too, just a shame I was driving! Will be back very soon.....

This pub is fantastic from the things it’s been through recently, amazing beer garden, attentive and lovely staff. Amazing pub grub, all for a really affordable price. Amazing deals on the drinks. Bar staff have a good knowledge of beers and wines. All great sense of humour. Locals are some of the most pleasant and respectful people I’ve met. Landlord and his wife and incredibly inviting and have gone out their way for me many a times. You couldn’t ask for a better little town pub. As for the BnB rooms which are worth every penny, for a get away to countryside of Somerset, with Priston round the corner and many more walks close by. Often eventful with evening events such as open mic night, meat draw (raffle tickets to win meat!), karaoke, quiz night and live music when available.

1st visit here , Welcoming & willing staff . Sunday roast and the cosy (snug) atmosphere was ideal for a wet & miserable Sunday. Thank you 😃

A lovely country pub with plenty of room. There is a good size carpark at the back next to the beer garden. We had the Sunday roast . Portions were extremely generous but everything was well cooked. It was quite at the time we went but we understand it does get very busy so booking essential. I would definitely go back.

New owners as of August 2020 have managed to absolutely nail the food offerings, which for so many years were not good. But they have come in and massively improved the food. The Sunday roasts come with a choice of small, medium and large, which is a great idea as not everyone always wants a massive meal. But it’s all great! Big yorkshire puds, gravy boats if you ask, perfectly cooked meat and veg, all washed down with a quality bitter! As of 2022 getting a solid and well deserved reputation for a music pub as well, as lots of top notch bands, and event done in conjunction with the Guitarbitz music shop in Bath. You are doing a great job for Timsbury guys, keep it up!

Really great rack of ribs (corn and chips was spot on also). Parents had burgers and said they were great. Even the little ones chicken nuggets were tasty, and you don't usually expect much from them. Really nice beer garden outside, with a quality tent. Great selection of beers and pretty solid selection of liquor. Sadly not much Scotch. Pleasant atmosphere and would definitely visit again.

Nice little pub with a good selection of drinks, I've eaten there a few times and it's always been good pub food. The gardens nice too, especiall liked the tipi style covered area. Lots of parking too.. and if that's full you can park on the street also very easily

Great village pub with great atmosphere. The new food on the menu is excellent. I had the chicken burger and it was 👌👌👌- easily as good as restaurants in Bath!

The new management is amazing and food is brilliant. Dogs are welcome and so is a lovely all-rounder for a coffee after a walk, a meet up with friends or a meal out!
