I'll definitely be back again.
1. Sometimes it pays off to go to the place and try it for yourself and not check the reviews.
2. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the banter and the tips that he gave me since I was visiting the city for the first time.
3. The portion is more than enough for you!! I was so
Amazing fish and chips place. So many choices. Also had halloumi for vegeterians and beans, etc. We had the Posh Fish and Chips, which was worth trying and both got larger beers. We ended the evening with their sticky toffee pudding with the best vanilla ice cream of my life.
I ordered before I saw the revues but luckily they were proven wrong. The lady who took my order was very pleasant. I ordered the lunch special for $12 GBP which included fish and chips, mushy peas, toast with butter and tea or coffee. The fish breading was great, not too much nor too little. The fi
Was quite late in the afternoon and we were glad they were open. The staff were very chatty and informative about the origins of the shop. Fish was nice as were the chips. We sat on the ground floor and we were told that the room in the basement was an air raid shelter.
If I could give 6 for atmosphere and a 7 for service I would. Super crunchy batter on the Cod and chips. Cod was moist and flaky. Delicious tartar sauce and such friendly and helpful service! The terras is adjacent to a square with a gorgeous huge old tree. We walked up close to closing, having bee
Beautiful fish and chips, batter was crisp, fish flakey and fresh and the chips were proper!!! We shared a large cod and chips with mushy peas and it was plenty for 2 for lunch. Also had a lovely chat with Luke who runs the place, he was super friendly and we had a proper good natter. This place is
Delicious! We had the haddock and it was incredibly tasty, juicy on the inside and super crisp on the outside. We're slow eaters and it held very well to the very end of our meal. The mushy peas were delicate and flavourful and the tartar nicely balanced.
The restaurant is very beautiful, the fish is delicious, and the service is good. I hope to try again🤍
Amazing everything !!!! And the cook is just incredible !!! The best fish and chips, mash peas and steak and kidney pie , brought back very good memories … if in Bath you must visit…. or just go to Bath to try the huge menu …. Amazing food!!!! … thank you
Like the chef is the finest guy. The atmosphere and food and are worth every star received. The fish is pristine cooked to perfection and the chips are magnificently cooked.
Very tasty fish and chips. The fish was fresh and didn't reek of stale oil as it does at many places. The service was good. The owner is very friendly. It's a popular place, so indoor seating could be stuffy but outdoor seating is also available.
This is best first & chips around UK, I love this restaurant and I. Will come back again
Brilliant place, amazing chips, classic local place. The owner was charming and friendly and will chat away and was so accommodating . Couldn't recommend any more, has a good vegetarian and vegan range.
This restaurant has been in Bath for many years, so I was very surprised to see it on my recent visit to Bath. I took my friend to enjoy the OAP fish n chips. Would definately visit again, the staff were very nice, & the food came to us quickly.
The staff here in Bath England are the nicest people, friendly and attentive. I vacationed with my mother and we had to have the fish and chips 3 times in one week . The food was superb. We didn't want the mushy peas at first but they go very well with the cod, malt vinegar and tartar sauce. I will
