My husband and I love it here! Perfect for anything from a coffee to a 3 course dinner. The food never fails to disappoint. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s cosy in the winter and delightful outside on the terrace in the summer. We visited again this evening. I was picked from a draw to receive a two course dinner for two. I chose calamari to start, followed by chicken and chorizo paella. My husband chose scotch egg to start, followed by steak and chips and to finish creme brûlée. All were fantastic. When we were shown to our table there was a complimentary bottle of fizz and a card as we were celebrating my birthday. Such a lovely touch. Thank you Joanna and team. Keep up the good work. See you again soon! �

A very nice restaurant set in a beautiful location. The restaurant had a great menu with a wide selection of good food. Friendly staff who were very efficient on a busy Friday night. Food was great and very tasty. Drinks selection was great as well. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Lunch at Brooke's Bar And Bistro after taking a visitor from Norwich on a hard morning's viewing of the entirety of the (cold and windy) Wren's Nest geopark. Not only was the meal a complete restorative - hot and plentiful - but the Pasta Romana was to perfection, and my friend delighted in his steak in a bed of sourdough, each with a rocket salad. He could scarcely believe the value Dudley provided, as opposed to his home city.

Me and my wife are going every weekend to have a cooked breakfast. The food is very tasty and made with good quality products. Staff is welcoming and are bringing the orders quite fast. The atmosphere is quite and relaxing. I am recommending this place for everyone who wants to have a meal in a quiet place. I will definitely revisit.

Good food, good service, nice wine and our dog could come with us. I had all vegan and it was all lovely. Doggy was given a big bowl of water (which she knocked over before she left - sorry!). Only complaint would be that there are two radiators in the dog friendly area which made it difficult for her to find a spot that was out of the way and not too warm.

My veggie curry was great but my partner 's fish and chips not as good, "fish a bit old" was his comment. Other diners in our party quite happy apparently so choose what you believe!......

Absolute perfection. From the friendliness and attentiveness (without being annoying) of the staff to the utterly delicious meal this place has it all. Both my boyfriend and I agree that the steak cheeseburger is the best burger we've ever had. Price wise it's pretty reasonable; it straddles that middle ground between cheap eats and fine dining. The choices of food and drinks available means everybody should be well catered for (though everyone should just order the steak cheeseburger, seriously!) and if you're staying at the Bath Mill Lodge Retreat it's a very short walk from the accommodation. I repeat: absolute perfection!

Beautiful setting,friendly staff,very comfortable & well laid out interior. The only reason for not giving the last,5th star, is due,(admittedly,maybe for our own selfish expectations) to the menu change from our last visit. No wood pigeon,no larks tongues or Chilean sea bass unfortunately,but I'll admit it's pretty fussy on our part. In summary: A lovely,relaxed eatery with a great menu,(sometimes,an even GREATER menu is available. Sublime in fact).

What a fantastic meal we've had here. Sea bass cooked to perfection with seasonal vegetables equally well cooked. Hubby had breast of chicken with seasonal vegetables. We both had vanilla panacotta for dessert. What can I say - it was divine - a very large panacotta with a scoop of flavoursome raspberry sorbet, redcurrant jam and dots of mango coulis topped off with half a strawberry. Compliments to the chef and the lovely attentive staff. We'll be back!
