Hopeless. Fine to not take care for a £2.80 ice cream but they don't have change. Didn't round it down but charged extra to round it off. Not surprising that all the other places have happy queues and David Thayer's is empty....
The owner is so rude and arrogant to his workers he's frustrating and literally took the scoop off his workers because the scoops of ice cream given to the customer was apparently too big it was heartbreaking to watch won't recommend to work or buy ice-cream here mash-field has better ice cream with
'Cash Only' !! I asked why and wished I hadn't. The owner went on and on about the Queens money. I asked if many people walked out. He said yes there are a few snobby ones that insist on using cards. I said 'Best leave it there.'
Should have walked myself to be honest, but 4 of us wanted ice-creams
Arrogant owner is often caught treating his staff poorly and has yet again increased the prices. £2.80 for a single scoop is extortionate. Better places next door.
Rubbish. Shop was untidy and dark. Ice cream selection half empty. Avoid.
Haven't been here for about 10 years, good to see it's still going. It's closed now but Google thought I was here as I walked past. I remember nice ice cream and fudge sticks. Nice
We hit David Thayer's twice (over two days - we weren't that hungry). Anyway, the ice cream variety is very good. There's some bench seating near the Roman baths out the front door. The ice cream is very good and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic ice cream from here at a reasonable price. During our trip to Bath we had a different ice cream from here everyday.
Lots of flavours and well worth a visit.
