Needed a quick snack and fancied something reasonably priced that I could have on the go. Service was speedy and friendly. Went for the cheese and onion pasty, which was £4.15. Was very tasty and quite filling, which did me fine.
There is plenty of choice to suit most people.
Great place, the guy working here is extremely polite and pasties are also very good.
Super tasty and hot. Must start a tour of bath only after a snack 😬
Tasty and affordable pasties here. I'm still unclear about the difference between a pasty and a meat pie. But never mind that, because it didn't stop us from ordering 3 of them:
Traditional Cornish Steak Pasty with potato and onions,
Creamy Chicken with chicken breast, potatoes, leeks, and onions in bechamel sauce,
Cheese & Bacon with cheddar, smoked bacon, potato and onions.
The crunchy edges of the dough were neatly folded and the pasties were satisfying just to look at. I wouldn't say the filling is incredible, but these were my first pasties and I liked them.
Pretty decent for a quick snack but a bit expensive
Taste good. You can choose different flavor and different size of it.
The young guy that served us, tall, dark (kind of curly hair) has amazing customer service consistently. On the till bit at 10am 13th June
One of the best Cornish pastry ever
They have varieties of fillings to suit your taste
Including spicy ones and vegan options
Wonderful food, staff extremely helpful and friendly especially Molly would definitely visit again
Small place with a huge selection of pastries.
Fresh with good ingredients.
It is only for take-out, but there are lots of seats along the street that you can use.
Superb bacon and egg rolls at a very good price. You can also buy pasties, sausage rolls, cakes, sandwiches, pizza etc.
Staff always helpful and polite.
Very good beef pasty. My hubby and I split a medium size for lunch. Great flavor and the crust had good texture. Compares favorably to those from Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City but a better crust.
I don't know what they do to the pasties, but these are sooo nice! And I always go for a chocolate donut - Hmmmm! Quick and efficient service, my goto food shop in Bath!
Banging pasties and breakfast buns. Good coffee. Staff are very nice
The staff are a pure delight. With one exception, they are always smiling, friendly, and incredibly accommodating.
Price-wise; fantastic - I rarely eat dinner and often skip breakfast so often opt for a big lunch to tide me through the day and for £7 I can pick up a drink, one of their varied (all equally delicious) wraps, a Steak or Chicken & Mushroom bake, a Cheese & Bacon bite, a sausage roll, and a drink to boot! If I tried that anywhere else (even Greggs!) not only would the food actually not be as enjoyable as the food provided at Cornish Bakehouse, but I'd be incredibly lucky to keep it under £10!
A special shoutout goes to a lovely lady with dark hair who I can only assume is the manager; she explained as I was ordering a Bacon Roll with a Hash brown and Mushrooms that sadly, as the demand is so low, they very rarely order any mushrooms.. Perfectly reasonable and understandable - but upon my next visit, I was informed that she had ordered, specifically for me, a small supply of mushrooms so I could enjoy them in my breakfast bap. This really made my day, and Cornish Bakehouse are always my go-to lunch option because of it!
