Great pub. Dog friendly. Good space upstairs, deceivingly big inside. Friendly owner/staff. Great pizza, good Guinness (owner also told us he expects it to improve further although it was already very acceptable, even for Irish people!), good vibe. Really glad we found this place on our trip to Bath
Great pub with Wadworth beer, didn’t have swordfish when I went there but few others which were very nice, great staff too. 🍺👌🏻
We wondered into this cafe on our first night in Bath and we were not disappointed. Scrumptious food and nice drinks. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere - family friendly and relaxing with comfy seating. Do pop in there if you are in the area.
Great to have a new landlord secure the future of this pub. Great place on a Bath rugby match day!
Stopped at the Curphew today after the game! It was as cheerful as always, with great service and a very attentive chef. The new snacks are de-li-cious!!
Cracking little boozer. Good cask ales, warm and welcoming with good tunes.
Traditional pub with a good choice of ales, ciders, wine spirits etc. I used to play crib here many years ago.
We used the upstairs lounge for a private party and it was such a lovely space. All the staff were brilliant when we were organising the event and during the evening. Good drinks and cocktails, and overall perfect space for an event.
A recent addition to the Cask-Marque Ale Trail and deservingly so. Already a clean well managed establishment serving 5 real ales, Roses Cider and sometimes the very strong Old Rosey. A modest wine list, priced mid-range.
The menu includes some original vegetarian options (no Sunday roast at time
Excellent friendly service and it's always really nice inside.
The food is an unusually high standard given the price. The chef is clearly talented and passionate about it -
We tried the new vegan lemon tart (which is great) that isn't printed on the menu yet and the chef came and politely asked us
