We have always wanted to try this pub, as we have lived in Bath for over a year now. We came in Saturday and asked about their Sunday roast, and how the cauliflower cheese was done. Daniel said “I’ll show you” he then went into the kitchen and made his home made Yorkshire pudding and a pot of cauliflower cheese, as a taster. This was amazing, so we came back for the roast on Sunday and wasn’t disappointed the size of the plate and food was fantastic. They also put the Women’s Rugby on for us, which was a bonus. Lovely place, with friendly staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.
I had Sunday lunch here today with a friend. They made us and my dog feel really welcome, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer atmosphere or more friendly and helpful staff. It has a lovely outdoor garden area too. Will definitely be back!
It's hard to find anything wrong with the food, staff, ambience and decor. All wonderful. The cauli cheese was out of this world amazing. We will be back as it was so good. Thank you.
I’ve been coming to this beautiful pub for two years, and what a pub it is. The food is top notch, and amazing service is always provided. I am always welcomed with such positivity and friendly faces. They have quiz nights, live music and BBQs from time to time. Will definitely miss this pub now that I’ve left Bath, but I will definitely pop in when I come back to visit.
Had the fish and chips, best I've had in a while. Staff were lovely and clearly care. We will definitely be back.

The hoasts are super. Great service, food (lovely Sunday lunch) and drink. Fantastic garden in the summer. Fully recommend.
Called in here yesterday whilst out for a walk. Started in the garden,which was lovely, and them moved inside and decided to have a couple of starters and small pizzas. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
The beer garden here has always been my favorite. One of the musts on my list each time I visit. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely knock-out food! The pizzas were excellent - including the gluten-free one.
Lovely place to come for a drink or meal. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the owners have done very well at refurbishing the place and making it a relaxing place to visit anytime. The pub garden is nice to relax in and prices are same as other places. Parking is the only issue but l found the road opposite the pub up the hill ideal to park which is a 30 second walk away. Great job guys 👏🏻
First time visiting, met a friend for dinner and a catch up. Received a warm welcome from the guy behind the bar, he even advised me I would get a discount as he noticed my NHS lanyard which I was unaware of.
The other staff on were also really friendly and helpful.
We ordered food and both really enjoyed our meals, my pizza was scrummy and my friend commented that her calamari wasn't chewy like it often can be and that she would definitely choose that again.
The pub had a lovely atmosphere, plenty of chatter but we were still able to chat and have a good catch up without any issues hearing each other.
We will be visiting again, thank you.
Happened to walk in on Quiz Night but they managed to squeeze us in. We were immediately invited to join a team on an adjoining table - so friendly. Pizzas were great & IPA perfect. Had a great time.
I like what the new owners have done, very smart design and the garden looks amazing. The bar is very stocked and the wine list looks very good too. Haven't tried the food, but I hear a full kitchen will be in operation in November.
