What a treasure of a place, something special. Beautiful artistic unique !!! romantic getaway Very close to centre of Bath. But without the hassel, peaceful and quiet. With a superb host fabulous bar area, nothing is to much trouble Louise was so helpful and kind.
Let me tell you a story... In the deeply romantic town of Bath, there is an absolute gem called the Forester & Flower. The place is the finely crafted product of an eye for detail the likes of which went unseen since Romans built the Baths.
Right across from the bus stop, you are a short ride away from the main attractions, but just far enough away to avoid tripping over merry students of a Saturday night.
There is a pub next-door. It is open once a week. This is fantastic. There is a great little eatery just past the bus stop. This is also fantastic.
The jewel, in this crowning glory of weekend getaways, is Louise. Organised, welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and completely charming, Louise thinks of everything.
Go to this place. It is the whimsical wonderland you did not know you needed.
Large room with 4 poster bed and bathroom, outlandish decor, but it worked. Absolutely fabulous, Louise, the owner was very knowledgeable and even supplied taxi numbers and local bus timetable. Also left some goodies in the room which was lovely.
Just out of Bath, but on a well serviced bus route. A warm welcome and a bus timetable was given to me on arrival. Sadly breakfast was not included but information on a local cafe was provided. I didn't try it due to my time constraints.
The room was hot, but the radiator valves worked and I was able to open the window. I had a room with a bathroom down the corridor. To me this was not a problem.
Overall a great night's sleep in a comfortable room.
Fantastic accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Landlady was amazing, very friendly and went over and above to make our stay so enjoyable. The rooms are unique and the bar and lounge decor is fascinating and quirky, just how we liked it. Lots of history about the building its self. Price of accommodation very affordable. We will definitely be staying here every time we stay in Bath from now on. This beats any hotel.
Buses run regularly from the accommodation into Bath City Centre. There is also a wonderful Cafe call the ‘Hub’ near by . We loved the landlady , she made our stay, as well as the lovely accommodation.
We had a good stay. Rooms are beautifully decorated. We had a bit of trouble figuring out how to work the shower, but the staff was really helpful.
Too bad you can't have anything to eat at the pub. The owner however was very helpful in recommending pubs and places for breakfast. She even made dinner reservations for us.
What a beautiful place to stay! Quirky comfortable room and wonderful host! Would stay again anytime
Parking, great rooms, bathroom a little bit small and could do with a grab rail outside the front door as those steps are very steep but lovely stay
Lovely place to stay, host was very welcoming, room was lovely and clean and had tea, coffee, sugar etc.. Bed was extremely comfortable and our room not being an en suite was not a problem at all! Private bathroom was just a step away from the room, which again was lovely and clean. 100% recommend, would stay here again!
Just returned from our stay here last night. This place is absolutely fab from the greeting when we arrived to the goodbye this morning! Full of character and so quirky. As soon as we walked in it smelt amazing and was so lovely and clean. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was so comfy. The owner couldn't do enough to help. As the bar/food part was closed the Hub just 2 minutes walk was recommended for breakfast which we had was lovely and very cheap. We cant wait too go back again and would definitely recommend.
