Booked a table for Mother’s Day - so was worried about it being a set menu if there would be enough choice. Safe to say I didn’t need to worry at all! There was so much choice. All three courses I had were absolutely gorgeous (mushrooms, beef roast & apple pie) and my mum loved all of hers too. I’ve eaten here before and this time didn’t disappoint either. Would 100% go back as we had such a lovely meal with a very friendly and helpful waitress.

Fantastic Saturday lunch of gammon egg and triple cooked chips. Great service and reasonable prices. Far better than your average pub! Also dogs welcome.

An enjoyable evening with very enjoyable food and lovely staff. We joined the quiz which was great fun too although a little slow and late starting. I do think it could have been completed earlier especially as we all had work in the morning instead of very long pauses between questions with only a choice of two answers. We couldn't stay until the end which was such a shame. A really enjoyable night though and we look forward to returning!

Be careful with the car park here now, as you will need to register your number with staff when visiting. Always a lovely pub to visit and have a meal. A great choice on the menu and at reasonable prices. The only downside was the hot drinks were not quite right, taste wise, otherwise great tasting main meal. The dessert was not bad too, but have had better. Yes I would recommend this place to eat. Been here before and would visit again.

What a lovely place, staff are polite, it's clean, beautiful asthetic; a one of a kind atmosphere. We just had dessert but will definitely be back for a full meal soon. Also seems like a great place for a family meal. Thank you.

Our group of 5 included 3x 80year olds which came with some challenges. The service we received from Sophia was outstanding. Very professional and obliging which made it a very enjoyable occasion. Food was delicious.

The lamb was tasty but came out late so was cold. The staff were brilliant especially Felicity who looked after us really well. The gents toilets are not kept clean this needs addressing. Very nice atmosphere.

Have not visited this pub for around 10 years so decided to give it a go. The food was amazing and full of flavour and good portion size. We went for the lasagna with triple cooked chips, followed by crème brûlée. Definitely would go back. Plenty of parking but remember to put your registration into the parking screen which is just by the bar. Staff friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent, mum is a very fussy eater but loved the kedgeree fish cakes and the gammon was delicious. The gin with London essence draft tonic is also excellent. The front of house lady was very welcoming and on the ball with excellent service. We will be back soon

I came in today for lunch with my partner and was served by a lovely young blonde girl (I can’t remember her name) but she was a delight! Always a smile on her face and gave us some insightful advice on where to visit in Bath which was great! The food was amazing and we will certainly be back again on our travels.

Not wheelchair accessible. One blue badge bay near main door, about six further bays up a slope. We visited in October, with slippery leaves adding to the hazard. Once we navigated the narrow door, staff placed a wooden ramp to descend two steps. A visit to the disabled WC meant staff having to get the ramp out again. Once up the ramp, the disabled WC is tucked away behind a very tight corner; we had to close a door that had been held open on a latch and move the wheelchair backwards and forwards to enter the WC. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the lass who waited on our table was great. The food was spot on, with empty plates left. Good value for money, but disappointed in relation to disabled access.
