Excellent service, friendly staff and great food - possibly the best bagel I've had in the UK...
My daughter and I discovered this by accident yesterday.
My teenager selected the Classic Smoked Salmon on a plain toasted bagel and I had the Salt Beef on a toasted "everything " bagel which had an onion flavour - this bagel had been recommended by the young staff member and it complimented the salt beef perfectly.
Both staff members were friendly and efficient.
The food was very tasty indeed.
Tap water is available.
I stumbled across your shop yesterday on a flying visit to Bath; I had a cheese and jalapeño bagel with smoked salmon and avocado, it was delicious! Wish you had a store in Colchester
I am a bagel lover. Usually I go for the classic smoked salmon with cream cheese, but the Brie and prosciutto was calling my name. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST DELICIOUS BAGELS I've ever had. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that they only had 2 bagel types left (plain and poppyseed) when I went in around 2pm. I usually go for sesame, so I'm sure it would've tasted even better if I could have had that with the same filling. I highly recommend trying this tasty bagel joint. It was easy to order takeaway and just eat it while walking around Bath.
Our first visit to this bagel shop today, we got there not long before they closed, so availability was limited, but that's to be expected and our fault for not checking the opening times. There was still a good selection for us to choose from.
Our bagels, a tuna and salad, everything bagel and a sesame seed Spanish club bagel were absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of filling and fresh warm bagels.
The staff were polite, cheerful, and very helpful. We were informed that even though the cafe and the takeaway were closing soon, we were still more than welcome to sit in their upstairs outside courtyard.
We will most definitely be back. Two very happy customers
The photos don't do these bagels justice! Really delicious fillings, well seasoned and well portioned, with fantastic bagels. There are other (non-bagel) options for those who would prefer, and gluten free options too. Veggie and Vegan are also well catered for. We arrived in the peak of a lunchtime rush, but didn't have to wait long at all. Would definitely recommend!
Had egg mayo and salmon everything bagel! Thick slab of egg mayo, value for the price point. Friendly service from staff to start the day too
Stumbled upon The Whole Bagel whilst looking for a place for lunch, and decided to give it a try.
The menu is quite large and has a number of vegetarian and vegan options.
The bagel bread is nice and not too soft, but not too hard either.
Service was good and prices were very reasonable, so all in all a great find.
The kids are going through a 'bagel phase' so we took them here for lunch.
There is a takeaway option or eat-in upstairs.
We ate in - it was busy but we did manage to find a seat.
The bagels were delicious and the food was delivered quickly. It's not a particularly cheap way to feed a family of four at lunchtime but we all enjoyed the food.
Staff were polite and efficient - and the tables were clean.
Knocked one star off as I requested no tomato in one of the bagels but it turned up with tomato in.
Overall Recommended
A real gem of a place.
Very friendly staff. They also do baguettes :)
Portion sizes are generous and you can get a meal deal of cold drink and crisps with your bagel.
Our 2 teens were very impressed, both by quantity of fillings (they definitely do not skimp) and presentation.
They have indoor and outdoor seating upstairs of where you order.
Lovely place which I can definitely recommend.
Prices are comparable to those of all the surrounding eateries.
The Whole Bagel is a delightful find with an amazing selection of scrumptious bagels. The place serves up some seriously tasty and creatively curated options that tantalize the taste buds without breaking the bank. Highly recommended for a quick, delicious bite!
You can get a real-deal bagel here. I got the New Yorker sandwich, and my sister got the Brie & Prosciutto sandwich. They were outstanding! The crew obviously works hard, as they are understaffed. In spite of this, they were upbeat, positive, and friendly. My hat is off to them.
Nice bagel with friendly service. I went for the Brie, which was lovely.
Lovely service and food, only preference would be if the bagels were a little softer as they were slightly dry and hard but generally lovely. Went here twice on a trip to Bath, once for take away and one to sit on their table outside. Highly recommend the hot bacon breakfast bagel!
I love The Whole Bagel in Bath. Their food is always amazing! There is limited seating inside so sometimes it can be hard to eat in but there’s so much seating around Bath anyway so sometimes it’s nice to get a takeaway and sit somewhere and just watch the passers by or listen to the buskers. The food is always of a high quality and fresh. I love their pizza bagels! They do nice milkshakes, smoothies and coffees and they have a wide range of bagels to choose from aswell as lots of different fillings. I would definitely recommend The Whole Bagel. Reasonably priced for good quality food. Perfect spot for a bite to eat for lunch!
My go-to for lunch in Bath.
A good variety of options, a meal deal and you can pre-order for collection on the app which makes life alot easier
Always delicious and very filling.
Bagel shop with a wide variety of bagels. Well, that's funny. Choose your toppings, choose your type of bagel (6 options) and see how they cut open the bagel, toast them slightly, top them and serve them. The rest is up to you what to do with it. I eat it it and it was tasty. The only thing what is annoying about a bagel is the hole in the middle. All my guacamole disappeared in there.
The best bagel I’ve ever had (after the first bite I just had to take a photo to commemorate it)!! Lovely staff too 🥯
