The Regency Tea Rooms - Bath - Photo album

A very sweet little tea room above the Jane Austen Centre. The Victoria sponge was delicious and the setting was lovely. Staff are dressed in Regency dresses and the music in the background added to the ambience. A very lovely little place for tea and cake, but it's quite a few stairs to get up to!
Enjoyed every moment. Had the Afternoon Tea with Mr. Darcy and it was awesome. Customer Service was great and atmosphere was quite fancy without being pretentious. The tea was delicious and the the scones were lovely and warm. Loved all the sandwiches. The teacakes weren't my taste, but they didn't
I had the afternoon tea with Mr. Darcy set. It was good. A lot of food. I also liked the tea but wish the food comes out a little faster or brew the tea a bit later to avoid the weird after taste for brewing the tea leaves for a long time
Fantastic afternoon tea with wonderful staff! I went with a group of 8 friends for one of their 30th birthdays on Friday 1st of April 2022. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff on duty that we interacted with were James and Tabby. They were absolutely brilliant and made the experience thor
Lovely afternoon tea! The scones were perfect with jam and clotted cream. The texture was good. And the tea was also good too. Like the comfortable atmosphere for the afternoon.
Great place for tea after visiting the Jane Austen Museum. I ordered the Lady Catherine’s Proper Cream Tea with a slice of Victorian sponge cake. Pro tip: make a reservation in advance
Lovely afternoon tea, pleasant interior and exceptional service. Worth every penny and highly recommended! Don’t forget to visit the museum as well.
I really like the idea of this place and I’m sure many literature enthusiasts would of found it glorious. I enjoyed the very moment of going in to see a little role play to be then directed to the museum and cafe. The staff were friendly, and I think it’s a must experience place in Bath. Overall I
Very nice place and it's great to see such dedication in the atmosphere and with the staff dressed up to match the theme. China, cuterly, tea set all was very beautiful. Food was alright I had the Victoria sponge with a loose tea bag Earl Grey that was good. My friend had the scones with the Earl Grey
Great place for the Jane Austen experience accompanied with afternoon tea. Scones were baked to perfection, with the jam and clotted cream being one of the best I’ve ever tasted! Staff were very friendly and hospitable as well, a must-visit when in Bath :)
This place is inside Jane Austen Center. The waitresses are dressed in period costumes and are very courteous. The presentation is great and the tea cake tasted great. You avail 10 percent off on total bill if you have tickets of the Jane Austen Exhibition within the centre.
What a wonderful place! They even have gluten free and vegan patisserie and sandwiches. Staff is costumed and very friendly. The museum - which is situated a floor below, with storey telling actors and the possibility to take a picture in a historical Jane Austin dress - was a wonderful experience.
As a vegan, I can highly recommend the tea rooms. Delicious sandwiches and the best vegan Victoria sponge I've ever had! Heads up - if you want a vegan scone you will need to book in advance.
The museum involved a great talk and tour and provided plenty of information. Staff were incredibly enthusiastic and match the characters of Jane Austen's novels. The shop is lovely. My favourite was the afternoon tea. Staff made us feel very welcome, the cakes, sandwiches, scones, tea and prosecc
