Not just giving this 5 stars because it's my brother behind this. I've been blown away by every aspect of the place. Loads of thought has gone into it. It's a really imaginative menu nicely decked out and the price pointing is very good for the quality of the food. So far I've had the Fish burger the Veggie goats cheese and the All Americam smash and they are all really tasty with a really interesting collage of flavours. anyone who knows Leon will know he's been a high end chef and been working in restaraunts since he was about 16 and has always had huge pride in what he does. Here you get restaraunt quality at the same prices as many of the other takeaway burger joints in town. I knew it was going to be really good but I didn't expect it to be quite that amazing! I've eaten food in many great cities around the world and Bath is great place for food. Magu is definitely well deserved a place in that. They plan to have all of their packing to be bio degradable very soon and the edible straws are an interesting touch though not too my taste (Very sweet and they get very sticky, bet they're not good for your teeth) I recckon some paper straws should be an option too. But the only thing I can say is don't take it on my opinion. The best thing to do is try the food yourself and that will speak much more than I can. Leon and Dave I'm proud for you
Came here on Friday night with some of the girls and cos one of the girls cousins who just opened this. Not being biased because its a friends cousin BUT the burger was absolutely amazing ��� I went for the Mac n cheese burger, the girls went for the halloumi burger, fish burger and lamb burger and the chicken skin fries. The halloumi fries was amazing from what I tasted and everyone loved their burgers and their chicken fries. The whole thing was banging!

Brilliant burgers (I would say the best in Bath!), great sides choices, very friendly staff. Highly recommend & I will definitely be back for more! Great to see an independent place opening on Moorland Road
One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while! Really good quality and taste delicious. I will definitely be going back (especially as it’s on my doorstep), I definitely recommend this place.

I first had one of these burgers on Friday afternoon and it was so damn good I went back again on the Saturday evening. These are hands down the best burgers in Bath and arguably Bristol.
If you love burgers or food in general, get on down here and get your fill. Damn they’re Good.
Absolutely amazing burger (I had fish burger), fresh ingredients and tasted soooo delicious! Great sides and slushy's too!! Highly reccomend 10/10!!! Xx
Got a burger from here last night (American) and it was off the scale tasty. So much flavour and I enjoyed every mouthful. I love Five Guys burgers but for me, this was even better.
First time I have tried Magu and I have to say it was the best burger I have had in years. I knew it had a chance to be a cracker as the guys behind Magu really do know what they are doing. Fast,efficient and friendly service. Great job guys.
I went today with my kids at 5ish. They were busy, which is great. And we thoroughly enjoyed it, generous portions, quick service fresh produce and delicious. Who knew mint milkshakes could be sooo good. Well done and good luck.

One of the best burgers in town for sure. Consistent quality since day one, I've visited them many times. Bit disappointed or rather surprised with an extra charge for having food in, but I guess they must control the crowd due to the limited spaces there. Overall, if you're Burger Lover it's very good place to visit and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. 5⭐ for food quality.

Only customer service is something needs reviewing... atmosphere there isn't very pleasant even when you just pop in to pick up your take away food. It's not the first time.ive been there this year and we feel sometimes that they're upset that we visited... 🤔
That's nevertheless easy to fix as the food is outstanding 👌
Me and the wife love the burgers, best we've ever had (better than any other in Bath by miles). Keep an eye out for the specials they are superb with the combination of flavours. The Alcoholic milkshakes and slushys are fantastic and a nice add for the adults. Be prepared to wait for your food as it gets busy, it can be up to 40 mins on very busy days, but trust me the flavour sensation of your first bite is worth that wait.
My partner and I have been fairly regular customers of another establishment not far way from Magu which we've always enjoyed and a great benchmark for us. Nice little bar, great burgers and polite banter from the owner or locals.
When we entered we found MAGU were only serving orders via Deliveroo etc (didn't realise they were closed to the public that day which seems odd, but hey ho) but said it was fine for us to sit.
Reading some of the reviews below its sad to read of the bad or blunt service. We met Dave who is a character that may irk but we found him to be welcoming and very enthusiastic as we engaged with him about the food and business. If we just sat there, who knows, it could have felt a bit blunt like people have written.
The food was outstanding in my opinion, the passionate conversation about what makes a great burger was fun and informative.
Definitely worth a visit if you like your burgers and guaranteed to beat any chain restaurant equivalent!

Magu know how to make a perfect burger, smashed patties and un-real secret sauce. Well priced and definitely worth a visit!
What a gem in Bath! Really tasty burgers and great atmosphere, really enjoyed my visit. Just a bit surprised with the lack of cutlery, I can get bit messy with burger and sauce covered chips. Great milkshakes too, just choose the right flavours 😉 will definitively visit again.
The food took a crazy amount of time from ordering to being ready - nearly an hour, to the point we had to switch from eating in to taking out - so will in future order online first. The food was totally worth the wait, the burgers were amazing. Definitely one to get delivered next time though.
I'd have a great review if it wasn't for the service, each time I've been they've not said a word to me and just looked at me funny, almost as if they're annoyed I've done business with them, always very uncomfortable going in there.
Burger is great though, I had the lotus burger the second time and it was amazing, I've only tried one other burger which was nice but i dont remember it being as good as the lotus which I've ordered every time since. They're very greasy, which isn't a bad thing, if it's the type of food you're after.
If you can put up with the service it's worth it but definitely ruins the experience even if you're just picking up a takeaway.
Edit: I had another flying lotus burger and it was incredible so I've added another star, but just smile guys!
We have regularly ordered food from MAGU over the last few months. Can say they are consistently great. Probably best burgers in Bath. My husband has a beef burger and always loves them. I go for the veggie plant patty which is the best veggie burger I’ve had. They stay together really well and aren’t sloppy. Very very tasty.
Burgers and Fries are delicious…. Have tried 3 of their burgers now and am yet to be disappointed! Would definitely recommend eating in instead of takeaway.
Only fault is they’re not open every day…
