Absolutely superb food and plenty of it. Best dining out experience we've found locally since we've lived here. Opening hours are variable so best to book first. Excellent.
So good! All of our food was delicious. The staff was so helpful and friendly and gave great recommendations. We wish we could've eaten there twice. Days later and we were still talking about our dinner at the Stag Inn.
Amazing roast dinner, one of the best I've had, personally I had the pork and I will recommend it to everyone! So juicy, not one part let's the plate down
Super food, excellent flavours. extremely generous portions. Staff were incredibly lovely. After London and Bath, this felt so homely and welcoming. Enjoyed having a nosey at the memorabilia and even spotting the 'Chris Martin' piano, which led to a surprising result when investigating online!

Ordered pheasant here for my first lunch in the UK. It was very tasty and the service was great. Didn't order a beer for it was too early for me, but the Ginger beer worked just fine.

Met a bunch of friends here after a long, country walk and we had an excellent lunch. I had ham, eggs and chips and my wife had Beef Bourguignon.
