Real gem of a pub, proper oldie hasn't been touched since the seventies. Brilliant don't touch a thing. Good to see that there are still some of them left , the ale was good too,
Great tradition little English pub. I really had a great time here.
Quaint little pub. Have 4 beers on. I tried the Old Slug Porter and it was very nice and tasty. Kept well. What more can you say. Plenty of seating. The smallness from outside is deceiving as I think it's set quite far back. Would definitely return.
What a great spot to grab a genuine ale. The bartender (wish I grabbed his name) and local regulars were amazing people. Loved hearing the history of the place and the whole Free House vs Macro Brewery realities in the UK pub scene.
Half pours of the ales were much appreciated as an option so I cou
I wanted my daughter to have her first beer ever in Bath, Somerset, during our last Daddy-Daughter trip before she heads to college. The experience could not have been better. Alan, the bartender, made sure she had an amazing experience and got to have a proper cask ale. I love The Old Green Tree, i
One of my favourite pubs in Bath. A real proper local. Tiny, cozy, great ales, friendly locals and even more friendly staff behind the bar. Nothing beats this place on a cold autumn / winter Saturday evening!
Superb place with nice beers. Since the first minute we were part of the family. Tried the Old Green Tree ale which was quite good, then we had Monkey Business ale which was very very good, a bit strong, but very tasteful.
The place is so small but the room is covered with wooden panels and that wor
Great atmosphere! Amazing staff and friendly patrons. A cosy 18th century pub full of character and fun. The drinks were a decent price, considering the central location. Could not recommend more and will definitely be visiting again.
300-year-old building and one of the smallest pubs in the city. A constant entry in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide - often up to 6 real ales. Tiny oak panelled bars that get crowded often and standing room only when there's a home rugby game.
So pick your moment and enjoy a unique venue. Large selection
It was great little pub where I got to learn to say "bitter" and "Worcestershire" properly as well as had a splash with our Dolphin bartender, haha. Would 100% visit again for another Pimm's lemonade. :)
It was as the reviews said, maybe a more local olde style pub. That said, the service was great and the welcome was warm. A fine pint of Exmoor Gold and a lovely quiet pub
Nice cozy pub for a beer. The publican told me this was actually the oldest pub in Bath so go check it out.
This is a lovely little pub in the centre of town. Lovely old oak panelling throughout and a small homely bar. It has a very cozy feel and is a nice little place to take the weight off of your feet during a shopping trip.
One of those rare snug boozers with a changing ale selection and informed advice from both sides of the bar. Add in a weak cellphone signal, low ceilings, the hub-bub of chatter for an ideal idle.
My favourite pub in Bath; probably my favourite pub anywhere!
Great old pub in the heart of Bath. Ever changing, well kept cask ales at the centre of it's offering.
Highly recommended.
A superb feature rich pub with good ales. Close to the city centre and worthy of a visit or three.
Lovely old world pub friendly staff well worth a visit
