Amazing little restaurant just down the road from the Theater Royal. Very friendly welcome from staff, and seated very quickly despite being peak time (17.00) Short simple menu, but the quality of the pizza from their wood fired oven was the best I’ve ever had!! Very competitive prices considering the food quality. Good selection of bottled beers and other drinks. If your a traditional pizza lover you will love eating here. Highly recommended, just a shame there isn’t a sister company near me 😉 I believe they might even offer a takeaway service but you would have to check. I went away from the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🍕

Really good pizza. Pizza dough excellent and tomato sauce really tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. They forgot our food order but apologised and we had free drinks. Food well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Genuinely loved this place! First time visit, found it on Trip Advisor, drop the owners a mail, all booked job done. Wanted to have an easy meal before watching the show at the Royal that is not even a stone's throw from the front door. Perfect Food was great, the waitress was on the right side of attentive, the bill was pleasant too considering the location. We have promised ourselves to go to more shows at the Royal so I can see there being more visits here for food. Oh the waitress made a very good flat white, just saying!

Stumbled across this cosy little restaurant after leaving the spa late last night, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff & fantastic value for money! My boyfriend had a meaty pizza which was delicious and I opted for the Nutella pizza... which is honestly what dreams are made of!! I couldn't finish it all so they packaged it up for me to take home & I even got to have a cocktail from their sister bar next door! Highly recommend and will be back when we next visit Bath.

We've had a great time. The food was great and the service exceptional. Their pizza bases are delightful and their tiramisu to die for...

The pizza is incredibly good. The crust is thin and nicely charred. There were a lot to choose from but we had the Margherita. The salad with goat cheese and beets was hands down the best salads I’ve ever had! And I know salads! The waiter forgot to give us a menu so wait was longer. Overall, food was delicious! I don’t care much about the atmosphere and service as we went to eat good pizza!

I came to Bath recently, for the first time, on a mini little break before starting at the University part time. I did my research before travelling and saw great reviews for The Oven, so booked myself a table for one! Upon arrival I was politely greeted and taken to my seat, a lovely spot by the window for some people watching! I was given ample time to make my selection and attended to swiftly, where I ordered the Margherita. This was whipped up quickly, and it was amazing to watch the chefs in work with the open kitchen! The pizza was piping hot and looked great - the flavour did not disappoint either! The dough was perfectly cooked for me with slightly blistered edges, there was an ample amount of cheese which had a lovely flavour, and the tomato sauce was a good balance in terms of sweetness (though I felt there could have been a little more by the edges!). Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend and will be returning to The Oven for some authentic Italian neapolitan pizza 🍕

Waw, what an adventure. 2 days on the trot, we went there to eat their fabulous delicious mouth watering pizza. Great flavours. Good prices and lovely portions. Service with a smile, especially the ladies that served us on both nights. Nice venue in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Great for people watching. Love the place. Will visit again.

The food here is fresh and tasty, we tried a calzone and 2 bruschettas. I enjoyed the salmon and goats cheese is delicious. The staff here were friendly, the food came out reasonably fast. They have a good selection of wines.

Friendly, helpful staff. Pizza was tasty and prices are what you’d expect for Bath. I enjoyed sitting outside and I didn’t wait long to be served. The main thing bringing the Oven down is the lack of dips for the crusts.

Pizza had good dough. I would recommend the salad with goat cheese which was really tasty. We went after 12pm, but by 1pm the restaurant was full. If you want to go this place, better to book in advance. The restaurant is a bit noisy but acceptable.

Absolutely delicious salad with generous portions of feta, accompanied with spinach, pear slices and walnuts. The margarita pizza was great too! It was a nice day and we sat outside. Thank you!

Busy place. Table reservation is recommended. We had one. Pizzas were excellent. Among the best I’ve had anywhere. Tried one with mortadella and one with pesto and pancetta. Both without tomato sauce. Pizzas are quite big so be hungry when you sit down. Lots of staff. Good service. Didn’t have to wait long for anything. Recommended.

We ordered a platter for share and 1 pizza. The platter was too much for 2 people so when we finished, we can only had some of the pizza. The left was taken away. I can see quite many of the customers took away their pizza as it is quite a large portion. The taste is good. I want to come again for pizza only unless we have a large group to order the platter.

Absolutely delicious. We know & love our pizzas, the dough & crusts were perfect! Exceeded our expectations. Staff were friendly, a really authentic experience. Please people go to these great independents rather than the chains.

We walked past the crowded pizzeria and saw that the pizzas looked great. A look at the menu we spotted something that’s not quite typical of Italian pizza and hesitated going in and that was pineapple on pizza. Nevertheless we gave it a try. The pizzas we ordered as you can see from the pictures are really good! We had beer and finished both pizzas. Service was also quick and fantastic. We later learnt that the pineapple addition was to cater to tourists, requested by the Spanish owner.
