The Scallop Shell - Bath - Photo album

We had an overall good time at the Scallop Shell. This nautically-decorated seafood spot in Bath had great appetizers—we loved the oyster and fish cake. The fish and chips was decent, we loved the tartar sauce and the cod was good, although the chips left something to be desired. The star of the sho
Such good food here, and easy to get here from the Bath Spa train station. Service was good as well, and the retro music was good. Additionally, we mentioned about the not so fresh prawns, and one of the staff came to explain and apologise. Anyway, it is a must visit and must try place. 2 thumbs up!
Last month we went out for dinner with our friends in this exclusive and quite expensive restaurant, we reserved a table at the first floor. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful the experience we had at the scallop shell was. The staff were friendly and welcoming, such lovely service! The a
You wouldn't expect such a gem in the touristy city of Bath but that's just how good it is. It's a family run restaurant with an open kitchen where you can see all the action happening. We ordered scallops, prawns, mussels, tomato salads and chips. All the seafood were very fresh and tasty. The staffs
The scallop shell is always a go to restaurant whenever we are in bath. Their foods are amazing. The secret of their excellent food taste is probably due to the very fresh fish they get everyday. Mussels, prawns are excellent. Fish platters are also recommended. Better to do a reservation before you
Reservation is a must. We tried our luck in lunch time and staff apologised for unable to arrange a table. She managed to squeeze a two hour gap between bookings for us at around 6PM. Fine for us since we are used to early dinner. Every single dish that we ordered was amazing. I’m certain the hadd
