Really delicious food! Asked for some recommendations on the dishes and everything they brought us was really good, especially the jack fruit. It's a meat free menu but would definitely recommend for both veggies and meat eaters. Tried a few new things I'll definitely be having again!

We had an excellent meal here. My wife and I are both vegetarians and were craving something other than pizza and pasta. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We both had the Grand Thali which has starter, main and desert. It was just the right amount of spice and very tasty. We had a seat near the window which had excellent view of the Abbey.

Fabulous food. By far the best Indian restaurant in Bath. Friendlier ambiance than the Mint Rooms and a far more imaginative menu for vegetarians. First visit? Recommend one of the Thali's to get a delicious taste of the food on offer.

Brilliant food, but the service is a bit slow and chaotic. Can't wait to eat there again - but next time I'll try and pick a quieter time.

Visited on a recent visit to Bath and the food was simply delicious.Specially liked their paneer dish on the thali. They had a variety of dishes along with a starter and rice and naan on the thali which is decently priced for the number of items on the thali.

Being a teetotaler , did not taste wine or beer . Had biryani and dosa here. One of the best biryanis I have ever eaten. Even sambar for dosa was also good. Overall 5/5 for this .

Recently visited this restaurant with couple of my friends, we all are meat eaters but wanted to try something different. It is surprising how delicious the food was without containing any meat. The service was really good and the staff was very polite. Curries were great. Loved the variety of starters specially Dahi Poori and Samosas. There is a good variety of Vegan, Vegetarian and also Organic Wines which goes well with the dishes. Definitely a place to visit for good Indian food and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A cozy-blue ambient restaurant right next to the Bath Abbey. Food tastes pretty good if you're looking for an authentic Indian cuisine. The staff personnel are welcoming and humble. Anyone who has come to Bath and is looking for good Indian food should try this place since it's pretty easy to be found too!

What a gem this place is! Had a wonderful lunch here on a sunny day in Bath - made all the more pleasant thanks to a table by the window that afforded a stunning view. Waiters were really knowledgeable about the dishes and I really appreciated the suggestions, which were spot on. Dishes were flavoursome and filling, and not at all greasy or heavy... the playlist didn't go unnoticed either - not only a bit of Fleetwood Mac but some banging 80s tunes too. Excellent taste in music and food! We'll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Indian restaurant in Bath with a group of three people. The food was exceptional, and I would like to extend my appreciation to the talented chef. The service started off great, but unfortunately, it took a disappointing turn towards the end. I noticed that service charges were added to the bill without any prior indication of it being compulsory or discretionary. When I brought it to the waiter's attention, he mentioned that it was the hotel's policy. However, he then resorted to the cliche statement of the charges being deducted from his salary if I didn't pay. Despite this, I stood my ground and requested the charges to be removed, which the waiter eventually did. Although we genuinely enjoyed the food, we couldn't help but feel that the waiter was solely focused on the monetary aspect rather than appreciating feedback. We believe constructive feedback is essential for any establishment to improve, and it's unfortunate that it wasn't received positively. Nonetheless, we would still recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, hoping that the service aspects can be further refined in the future.

Great taste with calm atmosphere! Portion size is good for 2 people. Tried broccoli and guess what? It was good... 4 star because they charged me service fee :(

Indian Temptation, an establishment with an impressive eight-year history, stands out as a beacon of authentic Indian cuisine. The culinary offerings here encapsulate the essence of Indian flavors. Noteworthy among these are the Vegetarian Platter and the Temptation Kofta, revered as culinary gems that one must not overlook during a visit. Upon stepping inside, the ambiance evokes a sense of luxury akin to a high-end hotel. The immaculate surroundings, coupled with the warm reception from the attentive staff, created an inviting atmosphere. Seated by the window with a view of Bath, my experience was enhanced. Smith, the amiable waiter, took my order and provided insights into the dining sequence: commencing with the starter, followed by the main course. The Platter's arrival was a revelation – its impeccable presentation was a prelude to its exquisite taste. The harmony of flavors, adeptly balancing spices, salt, and sauces, was delightful. A delectable Sweet Lassi followed, offering a cool respite from the preceding spiciness. Subsequently, the main course unfurled - both the Nan and the Temptation Kofta were paragons of culinary craftsmanship. The flawless preparation, captivating presentation, and exceptional taste harmonized seamlessly. The Kofta, in particular, stood out – its succulence was a burst of flavors within the confines of my palate. In summation, the experience was flawless. The impeccable service, a courteous and adept staff, a skilled chef dedicated to preserving Indian authenticity, an enchanting ambiance, all nestled at the heart of the city, cement Indian Temptation as a culinary haven.

Had some great food after a long time. I can tell it's the restaurant which keeps the authentic indian cuisine in real as a thali. We tried the grand thali. It's worth the money we pay. You can have a good view of the bath Abey as you much on the delicacies.

We ordered north Indian thali and masala dosa. Rice in the thali can be given more, it was too less. Masala dosa was excessively crispy from all the sides (so much so that it tasted liked flavoured papadom) The location is prime, it overlooks the Bath abbey. The staffs are like strict teachers and you are not sure when they start scolding you, both of them almost did! 🥲

Finding a fully vegetarian menu in this city was a relief because it’s difficult to go somewhere as a vegetarian and be able to eat EVERYTHING. It was worth every penny to try the amazing food. Totally in love with the south Indian cuisine; it all tasted wholesome and authentic. Despite the hectic environment, the employees moved quietly and effectively while still offering exceptional service. The excellent mango lassi was my favourite part of the event.

It’s a small restaurant at the corner of street, but the food is absolutely amazing. I enjoyed it so much that it completely changed my mood. Every bite was making me realise the right choice of restaurant I made today 😃 Food is a bit mellowed down to suit English palette but it didn’t decrease the taste. Service is okay and can improve a bit on friendliness. Interior had many touches of Indian feel. It’s better to reserve as you will get better table options.

A great Indian authentic experience. A steep staircase to the restaurant so not easily accessible for everyone. The staff were superb. One lady in particular explained different dishes to us which helped us make a great choice. Food was soo good. Tried some new dishes and was very impressed. Great prices too. Will definitely return on our next visit to Bath

We had an awesome experience with this restaurant. We had gone out with our family to bath for a weekend and were desperately looking for some authentic Indian food after a crazy walk around the beautiful countryside. At the entrance of the restaurant we had Ganeshji blessing us and that was a soul calming experience. The staff is very polite and ever ready to help. The food was simply delicious. I was impressed with their hygiene and cleanliness as well.
