I went on a spontaneous weekend to Bath and wandered into Chez Dominique. The service was impeccable and the late lunch was one of the best I've ever had, accompanying wine was perfect. I sat near a window and watched the world go by and it was a lovely meal! Highly recommend!

We’ve just had a truly delicious meal at Chez Dominique. Everything was incredible and so fresh - I’d particularly recommend the John Dory, Seared tuna and praline moelleux. We will definitely be back when we are next in Bath.
So lucky to get a table for a late lunch this Saturday. We were rewarded with the best set menu, great wine & charming service. A la prochaine - we will make sure we book next time.
Great menu and food . Was hard to make a decision what to eat . Friendly and quick service and a small but well thought out wine list . Will be back for more !
Absolutely amazing food and service - Highly recommend
Had three courses here - each one fantastic. Don't think I've ever had better cooked lamb and the lemon posset was beautiful. Really lovely staff too!
Lovely atmosphere and the food is delicious. Butternut squash soup is creamy and tasty, perfect winter warmer. We had the weekend special - Chateau Briande with mushrooms and onions and red wine sauce, accompanied by French fries. Incredible! Meat was lovely and tender with really juicy flavors. Big portions as well! Orange cheesecake for dessert with spicy ice cream, which was a perfect combination. Wine also excellent and great value. Will be returning soon!
The service was exceptional. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection and the wine selection was fantastic. We will be back as soon as we are in Bath again.
Excellent food, good wine, great atmosphere, a lovely welcome, and reasonable prices...not much more one could want
Simply love it here absolutely fabulous to be back for a third time, be remembered and also to see the two awards this restaurant has won. Well done the whole team, making our night another lovely memory of fabulous food and wine! 🍾🥂🍸🍷🍽🍾💕🙏
A truly wonderful experience, staff were friendly and attentive and the food was flawless, amazing food and great value for money. Worth every penny. Already looking forward to our next visit
Fabulous first time visit to Chez Dominique earlier this evening. Wonderful food and wine, delightful service and there's a great buzz to the place. We can't wait to return!
Menu with a difference. Well prepared and presented food. Friendly staff
Great food, very friendly staff and even better prices.
Couldn't resist some alfresco dining at this adorable french restaurant. Waiter was both professional and friendly, and he served a mean aperol spritz. Food was tasty, fresh and light, just what we needed at the time. Quality didn't knock the socks off but for the very affordable price point, our expectations were appropriately set. Would recommend.
I would absolutely recommend Chez Dominique to anybody. There was an amazing choice on the menu, probably one of the best menus I have chosen from.
The food was really fantastic with an excellent balance of flavour, seasoning and presentation. Another establishment that serves artistry on a plate. It's a shame to eat it. The waiting staff were professional, attentive and friendly.
The restaurant has a relaxed feel to it and, with the quality of an establishment like this, it's no wonder you have to book in advance. This was a Tuesday evening and people were being turned away. You have been warned.
I can't wait to go again.
Amazing time at Chez Dominique. The best steak I have had all year, perfect flavours and a fantastic texture. Must order the onglet steak if you're here. Plus it was inexpensive at only a fraction of the price of some expensive steak houses.
The tagliatelle was also out of this world and filled with gorgeous flavours.
Highly recommend this Parisian resturant for any occasion (10/10).
Our first night in Bath and we ended up in Chez Dominique for dinner.
We are so glad we did as everything was so good it gave us a great start to our 5 day break.
Food was brilliant, staff amazing and atmosphere very friendly, thanks.
Been here many times over the years and it is still one of the best independent French style restaurants in Bath.
Unfourtunately, it seems that here also some cut backs have been made with prices increased but also portion sizes reduced which left me still hungry after 2 courses with sides having dinner here.
Starters:
-chicken liver was very good but tough toast underneath
-melone feta salad was ok
-sea bass and trout were very good
-Onglet steak very tasty but tiny (less than 4oz pre-cooked?)
We went here for lunch.
Friendly service, great atmosphere and very good food at reasonable prices.
Strongly recommended you book in advance
Fantastic lunch here, the food was excellent and the light and airy space was perfect on a hot day. Had scallops, chicken breast and white chocolate mousse dessert, everything done perfectly. Probably the best place we've eaten in Bath.
Good service & amazing atmosphere. Food is average. A nice place to chill with friends. Price is acceptable.
Yes, French but not the usual kind. All was very fresh and tasty. Lovely presentation as well. Will try to have an other meal there. Rest isn't too big so especially in the evening it might be good to make a reservation
Delicious food and great service. Loved the venison! Definitely going back.
