Cascara Cafe exceeded my expectations, being a very friendly and welcoming cafe in Bath. After you step into their location, you will be fascinated by the unique interior design. Every wall, every frame has a story that Jay (the masculine side of the happy young couple that started this positive business) will be happy to tell you. I had a crazy delicious Naked Green Juice and a gluten-free vegan coconut cake that is definitively to die for. Now I have to visit them again because their gluten-free vegan peanut butter and chocolate cake was so good that my boyfriend ate it all without asking me to have some. Now I can't stop thinking about it
What a lovely cafe and very friendly owners who look after you as soon as you walk through the door they are very welcoming and it's a comfortable place just to relax and absorb the south American vibe, I can't recommend this place enough also they do a lush chocolate and bannana milkshake
The best coffee shop you can find in Bath amazing coffee, juices and gluten free and vegan cakes
You are going to love it
My favourite place in Bath. Amazing coffee shop. The best natural and quality juices. I love it.
First visit to this lovely coffee house. The service Was warm and friendly. The coffee was amazing and the atmosphere was cosy and funky. Would definitely have it as a regular haunt if lived in bath! As it is we will go back every time we are there! Thank you so much!
100% best place in Bath.... Anna and Jay are the most genuine, hard working people I know. Please Support this hidden treasure - You won't be disappointed!
Went into this gorgeous cafe today and just perfect. Great service, no queue, amazing Colombian chocolate cake, relaxing chilled music and the best Hot Chocolate ever. Thank you
Cozy, beautiful, the best place to have a cup of coffee
Lovely little find. Great coffee and cake (with vegan options too) and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Delicious lunch and incredible desserts! We came back two days in a row. All vegan, great service, little bit of outdoor seating. Got tofu scramble wrap, TLT, seasonal salad wrap, chickpea melt, and a bunch of desserts. Everything was amazing, with the chocolate hazelnut cookies being the standout.
It’s a cosy vegan place with creative solutions of dishes. Service was a little slow and low energy and we got an americano coffee instead a turmeric latte. It happens. I missed a little music that could have added some plus to the atmosphere.
Really lovely vegan cafe right in the centre of things. Children loved their cakes - the cinnamon bun was amazing! I was very impressed with my smoked salmon (carrot) and cream cheese toast. Perfect start to the day. A pretty place to sit too.
I stayed at the Premier Inn for a hospital appointment, just a short walk away is Cascara (walk up and follow the road around). Having already made a note of it before travelling I couldn't wait to pop in to get a coffee and something to eat before the appointment.
I'm not their target market as I openly say but they are one of the few places that can safely feed me as I have a severe cows milk allergy. I'm also gluten free, a combo which generally doesn't go well together when eating out. Server was very friendly and very helpful. I ordered a soya latte and gluten free jam on toast, a modest but lovely breakfast and took a seat outside where it was brought to me. The coffee has a wonderful taste and that was without any added sweetness, the same can't be said for a lot of over used franchises.
The decor and overall atmosphere for me were on point. I didn't see upstairs but downstairs was a mixture of industrial and natural, the table in the window is made with breeze blocks for legs and it all goes really well together. A lot of thought has been put into it.
After being suitably caffeinated I took my cup and plate in, and picked out a cake to take away with me - custard slice made in house and it was amazing, I ate it later that night at my next destination. Again it was brilliant to have gluten free options.
I didn't look at the menu too closely as I was only there for breakfast but did notice it had gluten free options throughout which again is nice. I find it hard to get both dairy and gluten free options together when eating out, so seldom do I try, this was a nice surprise and a great experience all around.
If you are staying in Bath or just visiting, this is an independent business you should definitely support. Very easy to find and add in as a stop using the google map features.
Popped in for a coffee and a cake.
Lots of choice with the coffee's and cakes. Great service, nothing was to much trouble. Lovely homely feel about it. Did not try the menu food but it looked good with plenty of
Very kind service and food... absolutely delicious, especially smoked "salmon" with cream cheeze. A little heaven for all vegans out there! Would definitely recommend it and will be back for sure! Thank you x
Chilled out little cafe does great salads. Ideal if you're trying to steer clear of gluten and lactose, though not all dishes are GF. The juices we had seemed a little expensive for what we got but quality was good. Nice coffee for my taste.
Wonderful vegan coffee shop!! The smoked carrot and cream 'cheese' was absolutely delicious! So lovely to see how busy and vibrant this place was today!! And so refreshing that everything is 100% vegan x
Visited the wonderful city of Bath and found this amazing gem of a restaurant. The coffee was delicious and the pastries incredible- cinnamon buns and almond croissant. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a lovely vibrant atmosphere. They could also guarantee the hot chocolate was dairy free as my daughter has a dairy allergy and often even vegan hot chocolate has traces! A must if you visit Bath!
The coffee cakes were fresh and tasted great!
