Every single time I have visited I have never been disappointed. Always delicious. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The long queues every day should be enough proof on how great Chaiwalla is! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

The smells coming out of this place was amazing and drew me in, the service was excellent, very friendly. Vegetarian food at its finest and this coming from a big meat eater. Loved it!!!

Absolutely amazing food, I try and go to different places for lunch but always end up back here as it's so tasty. Even if I bring my own salad for lunch I end up grabbing a samosa to spice it up! It's an absolute bargain for what you get and is so tasty!

Amazing freshly prepared food that is full of flavour, vibrant, great value for money and served with a smile. This is what real food is all about and most restaurants should learn from this place!! Cannot wait to go back!! :-)

CHAIWALLA 42 Monmouth St, Bath BA1 1EN Average spend for lunch : £6 - £10 pp During our visit to Bath .. we had a friend who was vegetarian and we all wanted to snack at same place at a reasonable price We stumbled upon CHAIWALLA it's a smal joint in the heart of the city .. No place to sit indoors.. only takeaway.. The place was busy and was operated by a single member of staff which was a bit surprising.. but I believe owner was trying to save cost on manpower and may be happy to lose business in attempt to save cost .. dealing through the work pressure and orders coming in through one after the other the staff member served everyone with a smile and managed to have a short conversation.. during which I was made aware about the history of the place I ordered onion bhajiya wrap and my friend ordered chickpeas curry and rice ... The food was delicious I would highly rated this family run business serving the tastiest food at reasonable prices..

Absolutely amazing place. Ordered a falafel wrap and samosa combo. Falafel and samosa was cooked fresh in front of me and NOT from a Bain-Marie or microwave. The wrap was full of freshness and flavour, so to was the samosa. The service was great. Proper conversation while I waited. Absolutely lovely staff. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10

Wonderful, freshly cooked food. Quickly prepared while you briefly wait. Best samosa I’ve ever eaten. Loved the chai too. We’ll definitely return!

Amazing vegan options! I love love love the masala chai made with oar milk! Chickpea curry with rice and extra pickle was lovely.. I like the chickpea curry bit more thick and spicy but thats just me. Going back to try falafel and hummus! Also samosas are Punjabi style so I'm going back for those too!

Cheap and cheery. The crust of the samosa is perfectly crispy. The "everything in it" wrap is a winner. Pros: Fully vegan Cons: Weather dependent as far a seating is concerned

This place is great! The onion bhaji wraps (excuse my spelling) are cheap, flavorful, extremely filling and can be spicy for some people (I didn’t feel much spice, my friend looked like he’d just gotten off a hot ones episode). The samosas are great! They’re quite spicy and pretty huge! There really isn’t a good place to sit outside, at least there wasn’t when we visited, and the restaurant of course doesn’t have any seats. The staff is friendly and great at recommending items in case of confusion. Also, everything is vegetarian.

I'd heard good reports about Chai Walla and I wasn't disappointed by the Samosa Chaat. Definitely recommended.

Super delicious falafel wrap and a very tasty seasoned samosa. Friend and chatty staff. Unfortunately the food is so good that word has got around in the seagull community and half my wrap got swiped, so watch out.

Despite the lack of leg room in this eye catching, humble and quaint little shop, the service and quality of its food made up for its small stature. The falafel and bhaji wraps were divine and bursting with flavour, the mango chutney sealed the deal, creating a wrap like no other, and the complimentary Samosa was the cherry on the top. Side note … if you haven’t tried onion bahjii before, we highly recommend…! At first we were weary but once the succulent taste hit our mouths we were thoroughly delighted.

Best place in town to grab some quick food, perfect to sit and eat on a bench outside on a sunny day. Onion bhaji wrap is a personal favourite. Will always take our visitors here and everyone love it.

I was looking a long time for the place which is just opposite the Boston Tea Party and next to Sainsbury's Local in Bath. It was recommended to me as a vegan. I had a delicious chickpea curry and could have had several meals which are all suitable for vegans. The meal was very filling.

Incredible food! My partner and I had an onion bhaji burrito, which also came with a decent sized samosa! It was all made pretty quickly, despite being fairly busy at the time. Also, it was very reasonably piced! Highly recommend.
