Without a doubt the best dog friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in. A beautiful setting, delicious food and seamless exceptional service from the entire team. The staff created a wonderful relaxed atmosphere that made us and our dog feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was outstanding. We never tend to go back to the same place twice but we will definitely be going back to Ravenstone Manor!

Great location, comfortable rooms (particularly the communal areas which were lovely). Highlights included the excellent food and the brilliant staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful throughout. A really well run hotel, would certainly stay here again.

A lovely hotel with fabulous wooden staircase and panelling in the bar area. The rooms have a high-end feel, well decorated to a high standard throughout. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice. Very helpful staff. Will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful experience this weekend. The rooms are beautiful - we even had two red squirrels feeding on the bird feeders outside our room. The food is top notch and the staff are all excellent. There is a superb walk to Dodd Fell direct from the hotel which is well worth doing. Can’t wait to return.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in the Trusmadoor cottage immediately next to the hotel for a little more privacy. Very dog friendly - not just a token gesture. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant, lounge and public areas. There’s also a warm dog wash, sheltered under a porch at the front of the building. Hotel is excellent but we wouldn’t choose the restaurant again. Menu looks really good and the prices are reasonable but we found the food to be average. Again, overall the hotel and accommodation is excellent and highly recommended.

(Translated by Google) Very nice hotel in an old country house style. The double bedroom is nice and bright and cozy, but the bathroom is a bit old. Unfortunately the water pressure in the shower is not that strong. Otherwise everything was great in the room and clean. Price per night was £149. The hotel is beautifully situated in nature and has a beautiful outdoor area where you can eat outside when the weather is good. The staff is very friendly. The dinner was very tasty and a good selection. It's a little more expensive than elsewhere, but it's very tasty and definitely worth it. At breakfast (included in the overnight price) there are different things to choose from (see picture) which was very tasty. There are approximately 15 parking spaces available.

A great hotel for dog owners, the best weve ever been too. Very good vegan/vegetarian menu options. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel building is very characterful - our room was spotless and very cozy. Our new fav hotel.

Nothing but good things to say about Ravenstone Manor, room 9 was very large, very comfy bed, walk in shower plus a bath, evening meal was spot on, lovely breakfast, staff friendly, bar and lounge lovely room with a view plus the snug with open fire, all dog friendly, Belfast sink to rinse dogs off, designated poo bin, really is dog friendly. Hotel in great location so well worthy of full marks. My only criticism was ripping my puffa jacket on the rose bushes as I got my bags out of the boot ( so beware )

Loved it here. So much better than an airbnb and such better value. So dog friendly - have a hot dog bath outside and dog towels. Walked up skiddaw from the front door. Amazing food, locally sourced and well presented. Great cocktails, lovely breakfast ans lovely staff! Hope to stay again

Stopped and had lunch here. Fantastic location and views. Good and reasonably priced menu. Gets busy, so recommend that you book the restaurant ahead of your visit, to avoid disappointment.
