Had a lovely meal, great food, great service, nice and relaxed, any minor bits dealt with in a lovely way by the staff, hide & seek on the garden and finished off with ice cream …. I’m 46 and this kids had fun too !!!

Lovely food and great service. We attended pretty late of an evening and weren't sure if we could still get food at it was after 8.30pm but it was fine and we found a table to eat outside in the sunshine. 2

Really large beer garden (some seats in shade), bit of a playground, nice food - served quickly and, of course, a lovely cold pint.
Staff were helpful and efficient, and we're already talking about going back.

Really nice large pub. Very good menu and wine list. Something for everyone. Friendly service and efficient. Quite busy for a Tuesday so an popular place. I did not have a booking. Not a problem. Plenty safe parking. Good disability access.
Lovely friendly, attentive staff and delicious food 😋 only room for improvement would be to communicate menu availability on arrival. Absolute bonus that it has a doh friendly area, got to warm up with a delicious meal after a cold walk 😍
Met friends there as we was staying on the caravan club site across. Nice food ( plenty of veggie options for my mrs ) , good selection of beers. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for both.

Nice place. Good food & service. Great beer garden. They were happy to have Bernard, my dog, visit. Only slight irritation, on the day, was quite a lot of wasps in the beer garden.
We were look for a place with an outdoor play area for the grandkids. The Wheatsheaf has a large enclosed outdoor beer garden which was great for them to play. Ordering and delivering from our table was easy and quick. The food was very good, especially considering how busy they were. Feedback wise,
i have been passing this pub many times, it was my first visit with friends. we arrived 12:20pm on saturday after walked from chatsworth house. we were very lucky that arrived 1 minute early after that the pub was full. the meals we ordered were good and servied very quickly. the staff were friendly

Love the new ambience when entering the Wheatsheaf, which we have know and visited for over many years, the atmosphere was welcoming, the young waitresses were polite, helpful and patient.
The steak was very tender and delicious and excellent food was enjoyed by the four of us.
