The Holly Blue - Basingstoke - Photo album

Was 75$ for 5 of us but it was taken down to 60$ due to blue light card. Diet Coke was a bit watery. One of the servers was a prick to another server and the same picky server dropped something a fork and kicked it. Good food and good quality. Service was a 3/5 the short new waiter was good and pol
The Sunday roast here has been consistently great. You can get extra Yorkshire and gravy with no hassle. Great Sunday afternoon atmosphere, cosy with a hint of pints
Nice country style pub, friendly staff and good alection of drinks. Not dined here yet but other customers food looked decent. Great place to stop whilst on a ride out with friends.
Fist time at this wonderful fine pub! All staff are very friendly and the place is very tidy and clean! Highly recommended!
Good place to eat, chill and relax. Serving staff are attentive, kind and very knowledgeable with allergies and intolerances. Josie was a wonderful host this valentines evening. Went above and beyond to look after our table! Food was lovely, and the ambience of the building was welcoming and comfor
Very nice! I had a burger and it was delicious. Bacon was dominating on crispiness, cheese was perfectly melted. Very lovely atmosphere inside, would come here again. 5 stars Edit Apr 13: I came here today, little disappointed. The waiting time was longer than a hour, but to be fair, it was busy
Food is excellent and the portion is just right. Nice local atmosphere to the restaurant, feels like home. Few things need to improve on personally thinking. Too few staff cannot get the service as needed, indoor lighting is a bit bright
The inside of the pub is lovely. Food was alright. We had beef and pork Sunday roast. Both were not bad, however the potatoes were hard and the pork slides were a bit on the thin side. We also ordered a plant based burger from the children's menu it was a good portion for the children meal. Overall
This place was truly exceptional. The fish and chips here were perhaps some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. They were the perfect temperature and the batter was deliciously crispy. The chips are also fantastic too. So, I’d recommend that. The burgers were also very nice. The humous and pita br
Dropped in for mid-week lunch. Husband had fish and chips and I had the ham and eggs. Food was hot and well cooked. The service was excellent. Vicky, (Victoria) was attentive but not intrusive. We will return.
Lovely big place. Excellent service, very attentive. Menu could be more extensive as limited choice and we're not a fussy bunch. Sticky toffee pudding a bit dry, lacked sauce plus was cold.
Really good food and very friendly service. General decor of the pub is also really nice. Gives it a nice atmosphere. I will happily return. Only criticism is that you are a card only establishment which is a shame. I appreciate we are going that way as we become more modern, but still, a pub is a p
Met up here for a family lunch & catch up. Greeted by a very friendly manager. Food was excellent, served quickly considering the number of people who were there & reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
We came on the recent busy bank holiday and the staff very kindly gave us a seat in the restaurant. The food was fantastic - we wanted to try as much as we could, and it really did not disappoint. The cocktails were on the pricey side, but I had some of the reasonably priced and delectable local bee
