Finally got around to order some pizza on my own as we used to get it quite often at work. When ordered mid day, my order was straight away cancelled due to lack of drivers - makes me question, why are you available on delivery platforms when not available? Got bit more successful on my next try day after, more towards evening time. Pizza itself was OK, expected slightly bigger as advertised as XXL yet it seems pretty much around the L size of other places. Not huge fan of their garlic dip, however can understand this can be just my preference.
Had some trouble communicating that I had wanted a vegan pizza, turns out only the cheese was vegan, I had called them and they were happy to take it back and deliver a fresh vegan one, came extremely fast too, excellent service on their side.

OKAY! Here I go..
We have always ordered from Papa Johns as the pizzas are always good 👍also as we pre order, the food is always hot. If it was delivered a bit late, its never been more than 10 minutes which is acceptable as the quality is still good.
BUT OH MY GOODNESS tonight we pre ordered at around 9pm for delivery at 10.45pm.
The app was notifying that it was on its way. Unfortunately the pizza didn't arrive until 11.40pm. We attempted to contact Papa Johns via telephone. Surprise surprise no answer as it was closed.
Although the app informed us to enjoy our meal!!WHAT MEAL?We received a good will voucher for our order running late at 11.10pm so naturally we figured it would not be much longer. Oh how wrong we were. It was delivered at 11.40pm. Fair play to the delivery guy he was so apologetic,.
But big disappointment with Papa Johns. Obviously the food was stone cold. Tomorrow morning I will definitely be demanding a full refund. Shame on you Papa Johns.

As I am paralysed and obviously can't answer the door when my Carers have finished their shift. Papa John's has gone above and beyond with their delivery service. They have got to know me over time and the delivery guys are trustworthy as I have to give them details to enter my home. Food always hot
I no longer order online as it saves confusion and I can give exact instructions. BANG ON. KEEP IT UP 👍
Papadias was really nice. The Philly cheesesteak one was delivered without the sauce. I called up and they said they would send a new one. It arrived within the hour and was hot. It tasted lovely!
Best pizza in town. Dominos or Pizza Hut dough is very thick and "bready". I like the thin crust here. Most options are chicken or beef based, I would prefer more options Italian-style but it is my favourite on the rare occasions that we order pizza instead of doing it ourselves.

Reliable, good pizza. We’ve used Papa John’s in Basingstoke for years now and they consistently deliver on time and with everything you have ordered, unlike one pizza delivery place. Okay, the pizzas may may be gourmet quality, but they are not poor quality either.
The website is AWFUL! Created an order, told me I already had an account so I had to login. Forgot the password, so tried to change it... Took 3 emails to get the website to accept the 'token' they send. So, logged in and my order had disappeared, so had to create it again. Paid - got an email confirmation and then checked the website again to confirm and it showed no record of my order. So I refreshed - nothing. Logged out only to find I can't log back in! Jesus, how difficult can you make it to order a goddamn pizza!! Still, the delivery was really quick and the pizza was excellent - hot, fresh and well cooked. Made the hard work of ordering worth it.
First time I have used Papa John's in Basingstoke and incredibly impressed. Delivering from one side of Basingstoke to the other quickly and with no fuss.
As a first time user I used a voucher code but made a mistake during ordering, the manager was very fast at helping to rectify MY mistake to everybody's satisfaction.
I will be using them everytime we have pizza, by far the best I've found in Basingstoke, Domino's can only dream of making pizza this well!

After trying the main alternatives of Dominoes and Pizza Hut, we eventually settled on Papa Johns as the best pizza in town. The dough they use is light and fluffy, particularly with the Deep Pan and Stuffed Crust options, and their toppings are always generous. While they might not have as many options as other places, they're definitely the most enjoyable.
Side orders are fairly standard (ice cream and cakes for deserts; chicken, wedges and breads for savoury sides). They also use Coke rather than Pepsi for their drinks.
It's worth using the website to place your order, rather than phoning it through. The main benefit is that you'll gain points to put towards free pizzas, but you can also experiment with their various offers to find out which one is best for your order. Can't argue with that!
