Spruce Goose Beefeater - Basingstoke - Photo album

Went for a meal after a lovely afternoon at the theatre and was seated straight away without booking when the restaurant was very busy. Everyone we came in to contact with from the general manager, to the bar staff and waitress were exceptionally friendly and pleasant. The food was great, and I was
Adam was particularly helpful in helping us made decisions on food and informative about the steaks :) servers were friendly and sat us quite quickly - but would recommend booking to avoid disappointment
We dined after having a lovely evening bowling. We took our service users which are disabled. We were greater by the manager and given a table which was accessible to wheelchairs and also went under the table. Had a lovely waitresses who's name was Kaytlynn. I hope I got that right. This lovely lady
Amazing food , meat was just fantastic! Need to go back to try all other different plates. Service was also excellent
We booked and visited for a later dinner after our cinema trip. Very warm welcome from Lee, who we believe is the Host/Manager. It was clearly busy but he seated us quickly and was hands on with helping out with the very full restaurant, which is great to see. Lee and Serg took our orders and served
Standout aspect of the evening was our server Serg. He was extremely informative about the steak and method of cooking and also about the choice of wine. The manager was very friendly and moved us to another table, when requested, without any fuss. Food was above average for this chain of restaurant
We enjoyed a family lunch here today and would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is relaxing and our waiter Adam made the meal even better - he was patient and attentive without hovering and this restaurant is lucky to have him working there
Haven't been to the Spruce Goose in years having moved away. Had chargrilled king prawns, mixed salad and fries whilst hubby had rack of ribs and chicken. Large tasty portions. Wasn't too busy mid afternoon. Will definitely visit again when next in the area.
This is by far the best Beefeater restaurant we have eaten at. We had a lovely meal last night; food was just excellent, great service and beer was good too. This morning we have returned for breakfast, and again the food was excellent, as was the service.
Unforgettable Experience at Spruce Goose Beefeater in Basingstoke I recently had the opportunity to visit the Spruce Goose Beefeater restaurant in Basingstoke, and I must say it was a truly unforgettable dining experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and well taken ca
The fish looked like it had been cooked twice as it had so much oil in the batter and very dark. The fish inside was OK. My Lasagne was lovely no complaints
We needed a place for dinner before going to iFLY across the road. The previous reviews were very mixed, either having had a positive experience or the complete opposite, so were unsure what to expect. Beafeaters can vary and are normally standard food. We were given a table but was told we would ne
Firstly, I have to note the amazing work ethic we witnessed by Keiran when we were waiting for our meals. He was working his socks off-keeping all the meals coming out one after the other! Our waitress, Tequilla, was so polite, very accommodating and super friendly-she did all she could to assist wi
Great food, quick service. Some staff are not great but lovely meal.
A picture paints 1,000 words... The food was so good, Chicken Goujons with hot sauce, 8oz sirloin steak with side salad. Service was a little on the slow side but it was pretty busy to be fair, Would definitely return.
Arrived on a busy Sunday evening (Bank Holiday Weekend) We received an extremely friendly welcome and were seated very quickly. The decor and atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and relaxed with a friendly feel. The food arrived very quickly after ordering and were no complaints at all, my steak wa
Faultless from start to finish. Amazing food, great service from all the staff. The chef actually reopened the kitchen to serve us food at 9pm as we were away from home with two children. So kind - we generally couldn't fault any of it.
It was very busy Sunday lunchtime which is always a good sign. Trudy gave us an excellent service. We were a little disappointed that my meal wasn't hot and she immediately offered to replace it even though I had started eating it.
We ate at lunchtime on the 2 courses for £11.95. I had open chicken sandwich which was good, my wife had the salad but paid extra for chicken but l had more on mine 😞 Desserts were fine. All OK for the cost.
