Superb. Highly recommended!! The foid was delicious and we received two forks and two knives. No need to eat like a pig using your hands there. The sprouts made me pass gas when I asked for the bill.

Great burger cooked the way you want it (medium by default). The service was excellent but our waiter spoke too fast and we often had to ask him to repeat himself. Fast, delicious service all round.

We are huge fans of GBK! Every time we visit the service is fantastic. Very quick, friendly and the food is always on point. Our favourite place to visit as a couple! Highly recommend it to anyone.

Excellent range of both healthy and full fat burgers, which is refreshing. You can go traditional with beef (cooked to preference) and chicken (chargrilled or fried) burgers or try the vegetarian and vegan options, which are full of flavour and choice, and delicious. The pulled jack fruit and bean burger with beetroot relish was particularly good. They have a children's menu and are accommodating with menu change requests (different sauces with a side, milk instead of milkshake). Friendly staff, quick service and not vastly more expensive than fast food restaurants, but with much better food! (It cost £30 for two adult meals, with sides and drinks and one child's meal, with side and drink.) You can also get a number of soft drinks (elderflower fizzy is shown here) with refills.

Went here tonight for a works outing. Service was brilliant and they went above and beyond when I told them I had allergies and intolerances. I will definitely be eating here again. Thank you to the staff for a great meal and exceptional service x

It was date day so the vegetarian and I ventured to somewhere new. Basingstoke. Food, as ever, was on our minds and after a bit of a wander around to find the restaurant's we came upon the Gourmet Burger Kitchen. You might be thinking, as was I , that the vegetarian would give this place a swerve. But we strolled up to the menu nonetheless. After a quick browse we spotted 4 different vegetarian burgers with some vegan options too, so in we went. We were seated straight away and were given a pen and order sheet (novel). We browsed the booze and Pinot was written down (a large). I chose an Old Rascal cider (highly recommended). Burger wise, the vegetarian went for the Californian and I chose the Spinach and Kale falafel. I know I know, so many meaty options, but hell I enjoy veggie from time to time. We plumped for fried courgette slices as a starter and sides of chips and GBK coleslaw. The starter arrived speedily which suited us. THEY ARE GORGEOUS. Quite possibly because of the incredible garlic mayo that accompanied it I knew this was the case when the vegetarian requested another pot of the garlicky goodness (a task that would ordinarily be mine) Silence commenced as the burgers arrived. The vegetarian demolished her's, moving the bun around the plate as she avoided the carbs. I enjoyed the flavour of mine, I ate it all, but.........I was a tad disappointed that the falafels were 3 balls and not one burger. Picky? Maybe, but that my reason for dropping 1 🌟. It's been years since I visited GBK, I won't wait as long before I go again.

First restaurant meal since the relaxation of Covid restrictions. The restaurant was well set up for social distancing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. My young son was very happy with his chicken and chips and my baby daughter really enjoyed the burger bun she was kindly given. Really enjoyed our meal and will certainly return.

Fantastic dining experience. Despite it being lunch time on a Saturday and as such being nearly full, the food was delivered about 10 minutes after ordering and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the classic cheese with american cheese and it was quite honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Only nitpicks would be that the menu is a little limited outside the mains - starters and desserts had maybe four options each - and that the burgers don't automatically come with anything, so if you want fries you have to order it as a side. However we did order them as sides and they also tasted great, and were very hot. Overall great lunch provided - we will definitely be going again!

We got a table quick enough but when trying to order my husband stood and waited for ages at the counter with no acknowledgement until he asked someone who told him the manager was on the phone and no one else was available to take his order. He did eventually order after another wait. The food came quickly and was tasty. The falafel bites were nice but a bit oily. Overall a bumpy start but enjoyable in the end.

Felt too expensive for us, delicious burgers served with skinny chips. They are really skinny I tell you. We loved the banana milkshakes best ice cold. Good first experience. Friendly and helpful staff. It seemed empty not sure if it's like that all the time. Only suggest if they can add five a day offers it might be great! Wheelchair accessible entrance. Lifts available in festival place.

Restaurant was half full when we arrived and we were served promptly. Food arrived quickly and was cooked well and flavoursome. You can’t beat a Classic cheeseburger and fat chips! Waitress was friendly and pleasant and another member of staff thanked us for visiting as we left.

We visited the GBK for a light lunch. Today was very busy for many restaurants in Basingstoke with waiting times around 20 min. Our waiting time was 3 min. While the restaurant was packed the service was very quick and efficient. Our food order & drinks took less than 10 min. The food was excellent and staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant offers both full size meals and a lighter option. Beef, chicken and pasta options.
