Had a meal for our anniversary and the food was amazing from starter to pudding. Would definely recommend . Great pub great service.
8mile walk around Cliddesden, Axford, Ellisfield and Farleigh Wallop popped in for a usual pint and something to eat, great food and welcoming staff...great pub well worth a visit.
My husband and I popped in here as our local was closed. It was the first time that we had been in this pub and it won't be the last, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. Definitely worth another visit.

We pre ordered our order Monday night for 9 people, our food was brought out within 15 mins once we all had our drinks. All the dishes were amazing - would definitely return!

Wow, just wow. Thai is my favourite food, and I've rarely had it so well done as here. Just absolutely exquisite flavours, definitely one to try.
An interesting place and we'd be happy to visit again. The staff were both helpful and friendly and the food was good. The menu offered only a limited choice and a lot of it was Thai food.

Could not fault the food, delicious.
Booked the Jolly Farmer for our anniversary meal, on the back of another review that actually scored the pub low because they said they " hadn't booked and couldn't get a table in the main building" instantly i thought if this place gets booked up it good! And it is!!!! But as it was full tonight I'd recommend booking!
Starters were excellent, i had Chicken satay skewers which were the niciest I've ever tasted. Both mains were great.
Only fault was we had a long wait between starter and main, but when the food arrived..... boy it was worth the wait!
The pleasant surprise was it was only £6.50 taxi from Basingstoke to the pub too, so i was really glad we left the car at home as the pub serves a really good pint of beer too.
We asked for an Irish coffee to finish the evening, the bar staff didn't know how to make it, BUT were kind enough to say they would " have a go". So I was going to score the services as a 4 out of 5 because of the wait , but the friendliness and positive attitude deserves a 5.
We will definitely be eating there again.

We came here for dinner. We had delicious Thai food. The dishes were very well flavoured and authentic, it tasted fresh and was presented well. It was well priced and you get a decent portion size for each meal, it will definitely make you full.
The menu isn't very big and only has a few items BUT the items on the menu are prepared extremely well. From the starters to the mains to dessert. So overall the quality and taste are delicious and the dishes tasted wholesome.
Staff were friendly and helpful and overall pub was neat and tidy with a cosy atmosphere. Very ideal place for a nice dinner date or casual drink at the pub. Would happily visit again.
Quick pint of Neck Oil, and an Aperol spritz for the wifey, whilst enjoying the sun in a decent beer garden. Quiet but nice enough and would return if in the area.
Friendly staff, very helpful. What the dishes lack in presentation they more than make up for in taste and value for money. Very comfortable cosy place to eat typical village pub with great atmosphere full of locals.Even the local Bobby popped in and he was very friendly too. Large car park.
The atmosphere was fantastic because of the local dart club and everyone in the small village! The food was outstanding, we had Thai curries and English food and they were both out of this world! The waitress was very good at her job and incredibly helpful! Overall, it was a fantastic night and we left with our stomachs full knowing we will be coming back soon…
Great family run atmosphere. Lovely warm woodburning stove. TV for world cup action, but the with volume turned down enough (quite right!). Nice beers. The food is particularly good if you like Eastern quinine! But traditional pub grub also nice.

Proper old country pub with a good sized garden. We had a beef & chicken roast which were really good. Will definitely be back & only a 30min walk from our house.......bonus! 😃👍

We had the pleasure of attending the quiz night yesterday. So from start to finish we were made very welcome on arrival by Jack and Landlord Mehmet we had pre ordered our meal and it came out on time. We ordered a starter of Pork dim sum and it was absolutely lovely. Our main meals of Beef Massaman and Thai green chicken curry were just sublime. The portion sizes were perfect. I am now a Thai food convert after having an absolute awful Thai experience years ago and always swore I would never eat it again . Nui the chef is just so talented and has converted me. We will be back. Thank you also to Martin the quiz master.
Having not re opened for that long, I didn't think it would be as good as it was back in the day, how wrong was I.
