A clean and pleasant cafe for either a meal or a cuppa. The staff are a happy bunch and give good service. Food is cooked to order. Usual Sainsbury's menu. Just one word of caution. The air conditioning is always on full blast, so a jumper is recommended, even on the hottest of days!!
I've given 5 stars because the staff are wonderful. They work extremely hard and deserve recognition for that. What I don't understand is how they can run out of food
It's a supermarket. The café manager needs to be restrained in ordering.
Like most (if not all) Sainsbury's restaurants, the food is freshly cooked so there's normally a wait of about ten minutes. As eggs etc have not been festering fresh you don't tend to mind
Visited a couple of Sainsbury's cafes on travels and really like them - simple good food for a decent price. Not much else to say about it. Not what I expected at all, pleasantly surprised.
I was there around lunch time and although it was busy the staff were friendly and helpful seemed to work well as a team only had yea an cakes but the food being served looked good might try one next time table's and seating area nice and clean could sit to eat without having to clear up after the l
Breakfast was really nice would have bin 5 stars but for staff at the counter who thought having a chat was more important than serving customers
Sainsbury Cafe, what can I say. They are all pretty similar. Had all the options you would expect. Except it was a lovely warm day and the frappe machine wasn't working. Not the end of the world, but would have been nice. I'm sure it's fixed by now.
Slow service, tables not cleaned quick enough. Apart from that the food is nice and fairly priced.
Very, very good food and excellent value for money. The cafe itself also has comfortable seating.
Food ok if you like basic stuff and lovely friendly staff.
