A good cafe. The breakfast was delicious. Hot and a very good portion. The service was friendly and quick, as you would expect. The toilets were clean. Overall, a very good cafe!
Great place and good location...always freshly cut bakery bread unlike the plastic hovis breads other cafes do.
And now got Ice cream mashine!

Loved my breakfast here, friendly staff who looked after us and the food was well cooked, tasty and just as I like, yes recommend George's to anybody and will be going back.
My hubby and I on rare occasions have been out for breakfast. We always go there, in pitsy in Basildon. You can have set meals or choose want you want. It's reasonably priced though has gone up with pandemic and energy etc. Overall, good food and if you fancy a treat go for breakfast there.

I usually judge a café by the quality of their sausages… unfortunately their sausage fell short of my expectations… however the chips were quite nice, bacon was nice and crispy, and my partner had a very delicious sandwich, quite nice bread! I would prefer to order and pay at the table, but that just me… otherwise the missing 5th star is purely based on the sausage, it was simply not a delicious sausage…
Btw the coffee itself was quite nice.

Great food and great value for money this place is a cut above your typical greasy spoon. Service is friendly and the food is freshly cooked with only a short wait. Had a full cooked breakfast for under a fiver and I like the fact that you could add extra items or creat your own as you pleased.
Not a bad place to stop for a quick breakfast if you are passing. Limited parking available right opposite the cafe. not sure if there are any toilets in the cafe but I didn't spot any. eggs came a bit snotty, not the best breakfast in the world but filled a hole.
I go to George's cafe occasionally the food is always good and the staff are nice and friendly they do a good breakfast. And the pie mash and liquer is very nice here as well. They do have quite a big menu with a roast included in it very reasonably priced. They also have a toilet.
