This is a original and authentic Indian takeaway. I would like to say they have original flavour of Indian food and the service is five star.

Tasty food. We ordered and it came on time. We enjoyed a lot. We had Chicken Biryani, which is so delicious. Would like to try again definitely. Would like to recommend to all people who love Indian foods.

Having just moved to the area, we were looking for a good Indian takeaway restaurant and were so glad we tried Taste of Bombay. The flavours are fantastic, the portion sizes are ample and the price is very reasonable (but only if you order direct from their website, JustEat adds at least 10% to the bill!) They always deliver very quickly and the food arrives well packed and hot. We have definitely found our new local favorite. Highly recommended
Taste of Bombay is my go to place! Amazing food along side exceptional customer service. The food is outstanding, mu personal favourite is the tikka chips. I can guarantee no one does tikka chips like they do and that's just the beginning. I would happily go back to Taste of Bombay and I would definitely recommend it to others. What can I say I usually don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to do so. Amazing food and amazing staff. the king prawn biriyani is my ultimate favourite.The spice & aroma & full of flavour. Honestly these lot at the local legends in Basildon.
Well well my boyfriend like there Singapore style charmayne and vegetables spring rolls he said he love it. Rice and beef, duck and chips soft drinks and curry sauce he said the foods was worth the money
Delicious curries from this one, never had a bad experience! Usually order from their website as it's cheaper than just eat. Food arrives quickly, and if you order a large set meal for one it is enough for two people to eat so quite reasonably priced aswell!
We have never had a bad takeaway from here. They take orders over the phone and also on the net... If you want food on a Saturday then order it early as they have quite a wait due to the lovely food they cook... And although we don't order them we always end up with complimentary poppadoms. Definitely recommend this!!!!

As a regular consumer of South East cuisine, I am very specific with where I order my food from but this place was recommended by a close friend. I ordered a lamb biryani because this dish sounds simple but it takes a certain skill level to distinguish it from the rest. I was clear with the gentleman on the phone, I believe it was Mahir, I told him to make it the spiciest he can do it. He reassured me that he would personally make the dish and his tone was extremely respectful, the pinnacle of customer service. The food arrived in no time, and i actually experienced a kick to the dish, eccentric spices with Naga and fresh chilli really did make me feel like my demands were met very well. The lamb usually very dry with many other Indian takeaways was in fact very tender and succulent, it really complemented the dish. I honestly was so astounded by the food that I called up and asked for Mahir and thanked him for his service. This is by far the best takeaway here in Basildon and is good enough to rival other South East Asian Ventures. I highly recommend this place and I’d rate it more than 5 if I honestly could. Just try it out and ask for Mahir, you won’t regret it!

Food was absolutely delicious. Tandoori platter was to die for. Papadoms are amazing and customer service is excellent. Love the fact they have taken safety precautions due to covid-19. Hand sanitizer are also available for customers to use on collection. Would 100% would recommend.

We use this take away often and never have any problems. We just had a chicken tikka manchurian and king prawn madras and it was lovely. The only negative would be that my partner said the chicken manchurian was not what he had expected and was close to a Korma. He felt the menu could be more descriptive. It was nice though, 8 good sized bits of chicken and about the same amount of king prawns. It was delivered really quickly on a Friday evening and lovely and hot. We really enjoyed it.
