It was a birthday party and the children really loved it. Staff members were friendly. There's loads of parking available.

Chips cut on the premises. Fish variety of sizes &types pies variety. Nice staff. Short walk to free parking. There's something about the oil they use that's really good! Various offers to look out for. They're on various apps but prioritise walk-in customers. Five star clean behind the counter. Worth driving to. In small shopping arcade so not visible from casual drive past but brightly lit. off licence nearby.
I done an order through just eat, and unfortunately they didn't have one item, fish n chick called me to apologise, they were really apologetic on the phone, I said that's fine and chose something else, they then advised they would add a couple of more things for free to my order, and boy did they we got more than anticipated free from them. Thanks fish n chick, we love your food always hot, and tastes so good. In my eyes you guys went above and beyond what was expected well done you've definitely got a returning customer, not for what you done, but your food is always awesome. And excellent customer service, really appreciated the call

Good service, good chips, nice fish and a good Thai seasoned burger, though this has now changed to a different kind of burger. always good, very satisfying, good value, and this shop serves senior meals! Now has a very handy online ordering and pick up service. Particularly good if you have a large order - no waiting!
Standard fish n chips but I really enjoyed their chicken nuggets, and the battered sausage was perfect; not too crispy and not soft, just right.
Only thing is, they left out a whole portion of chips and as that is my favourite option at a chippy - not impressed. My senior father who picked it up is not going to remember so I hope the customer service is there enough to check for the person paying.
Never had a bad experience. The fish is always fresh and never greasy. Portions are good. The staff are very friendly and always happy to cook anything you want. Professional, friendly and above all the food is great.
The food was good, but very expensive
Fish was cooked from fresh and both the fish chips were lovely. Would definitely recommend this place. I've been going there for over 30 years and I've tried others but none beat this one.
Best chips in Basildon I’ve had. I wish their chicken was better. It’s usually dry and batter is unsophisticated in flavour. It tastes... Well... Like batter.
