Visited with friends for breakfast, really nice place with lots of outside seating and dog friendly. Ordered a vegan breakfast, vegan granola, two avocado on toast, two green machine smoothies, oat flat white and oat matcha latte. Could not fault the food it was delicious and presentation was excellent too. They had vegan chocolate fudge cake and two other vegan cakes (can't remember what they were though). Had a great visit and would definitely revisit, sooner rather than later.

I went for lunch on Sunday and the cafe was lovely. It was family and dog friendly, had lovely staff and a varied menu. They had a deli counter of fresh food that changes each week and plenty of vegetarian and vegan option. There's lots of drinks to choose from and theres a Showroom connected for tiles, wood and stone as well a furniture shop. Great place to visit, will be going back!

Not one to leave reviews (or essays in this case, sorry!) but felt this place needed it as these hidden gems deserve all the support they can get! Came to visit my mum today from Manchester and was a little bewildered as to why we were going to a furniture place to eat but was pleasantly surprised to see the oasis that is Planks Kitchen! We weren't aware they close early but they were more than happy to accommodate us. The food and juices were truly delicious and the menu was great too, plenty of vegan options and you can tell lots of thought had gone in to the offering. The service was even better. Genuine service with a smile from people that care that is so hard to find these days and sitting outside in the sun was a bonus. I feel this place deserves to be in a busy city somewhere. It could easily fit into Manchester's Northern Quarter and more people would be able to enjoy their food but maybe the fact it isn't is what gives it its charm as you still get that personal Northern hospitality! Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu and the deli as they were sold out by the time we got there. My only complaint is that I live too far away to come more often as I'd be here every day if this was on my doorstep! As someone who works in the restaurant industry and knows how hard things have been recently, I just wanted to say well done guys and keep it up!

My first trip to Planks definitely won't be my last. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful fresh food that is a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. I felt so good inside after munching such delicious, healthy grub. Thank you for making my weekend!

Lovely choice if food, gluten and dairy free options too. Lovely decor made from old reclaimed materials. The shop is wonderful too; furniture made from the reclaimed materials. Definitely worth a browse.
