We have camped here a few times and loved it. This weekend during Bartonfest was amazing! We camped on pegs 24/25 which gave us a great view of the marque to watch the live bands. Great fun for all the family. Can’t wait to return.
Camped here for 4 nights, lot of space to set up tents or camper vans, there is a pub on site too and lovely footpaths leading to local villages. Only thing that let us down slightly were the toilets running out of toilet paper frequently.
I actually stayed at the campsite behind the pub. Facilities were average, 1 tiny mens shower and toilet onsite, same in place for women too. Did eat in the pub one night, food reasonably priced and tasted good.
Great Sunday lunch, the lamb just fell off the bone, very tasty. Would recommend. Nice location in the country with friendly staff.
We used the campsite and ate in the pub. I got stuck in the mud! The staff were excellent and towed me out. Although the pub was very busy the service was quick and the food was nice. The landlady impressed me most, attentive, friendly and still had a smile when there were SO many people to serve.
Food was great, large menu and great value for money. Staff very friendly and cosy atmosphere. Will come back for sure.

This is definately a little gem of a pub. We came as we were meeting friends and this was a good half way point. As we walked in we were welcomed by both the staff and the locals.

Great pub with camping. However the camping facilities let's it down as they aren't cleaned daily and are really dirty and should be only available to the campers
Having said that, that is also down to the campers who don't consider other users, as for the washing machine, you wouldn't wash a dog b

Arguably the best pub in the local vicinity. Honestly cannot fault this place from its facilities to its service. Everything is just top notch. What a welcome, and a great pint. I am rarely surprised in a pub but Landlady Timmy Taylors made me laugh. Keep it up, must visit.😊😊
