Stayed 2 nights mid September. Our bedroom was spotless and overlooked the lake. So very peaceful. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked. We had dinner both evenings in the hotel and the food was fabulous. The staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. All the current government guidelines regarding the social distancing, hand sanitizers etc. are in place in the hotel. If you want a peaceful break this is definitely the place to go.
Very nice hotel in lovely grounds/surroundings. Stayed for two nights in early July with our dog (who was warmly welcomed). The room was basic, but comfortable, with a king size bed. Hotel very quiet during our stay and on the first morning breakfast was cooked to order as not many guests. Second morning, there were a lot more guests (including a large party group) so the breakfast buffet was was laid on. (Both mornings breakfast was very good indeed - choice of cooked or continental.) Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend if you have a dog as the grounds are fantastic for walking.
A two night stay was made very special by the lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very professional yet friendly, helpful and caring towards us. We love nature and to wake to see water and wild fowl outside our bedroom window was lovely, the peace and tranquility perfect. The food was very good too. We look forward to another visit soon.

We visited for lunch as a group of 8, including two young children, with a puppy. The service was outstanding, both waiter and chef were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They really did go out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure that the children had a wonderful time. The food was excellent but I would have left a 5 star review for the service alone.
Stayed with my wife as a last minute escape. Loved the location, lovely walks.
The best thing about the hotel was the staff, they were friendly and approachable. There was a slight issue with a starter for the evening meal but this was handled very well by the waitress. We all make mistakes it is how they are resolved that matters.
The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable. Everywhere was clean.
Just trying to find time when we can return.
The Hotel is set in beautiful countryside ...the staff are warm & friendly. My room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. l always dread going out for a meal as I have lots of dietary requirements but was pleasantly surprised. with the gluten free options.
Popped in for a light bite on Sunday afternoon, whilst it appears they focus on carvery usually on a Sunday, they couldn't do enough for us.
Absolutely top notch service, so friendly and welcoming. We were sat in the Italian restaurant area overlooking the lake, perfect!
The food (jacket potato) was very tasty, hot and quick.
We will be back!
We had a fantastic time celebrating my Mums birthday at the hotel. What made it very special was all the staff. They couldn’t do enough for us, everyone (reception, waiters, Tanya who looked after us during the day and the chef Sarb) were so helpful and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us. The pizzas we had in the evening were excellent and nice to wake up to a lovely view of the river and Humber Bridge. Thank you for looking after us. Lorraine
Just back from 3 delightful days at the Humber Bridge Hotel. Its title may be a bit off-putting but it is situated in a very quiet and pastoral setting with a great view of the bridge to one side and large reed-edged lakes on the other, with plenty of parking spaces. There are great dog walks , although we didn't manage the Humber to Oakham 140 mile Viking Way! Prices were very reasonable and we especially welcomed the Senior Citizen menu which was allegedly smaller than the standard meal but still more than ample, with a good choice. Staff were very efficient and friendly, and the property clean and bright. Highly commended!
I have not stayed at the Reeds Hotel overnight however, I have been a regular user of the facilities and restaurants within the hotel. As a speaker I have used their meeting rooms, I have used the Bay Tree restaurant during both weekday business events and for their Sunday Carvery and found the food and service of a very high standard. I have used the Swans Restaurant in the past and was recently invited to attend the relaunch event after a major refurbishment, to taste the latest menu and new wine list. A superb evening with the Reeds Hotel staff doing what they do best, looking after your every need and the chef, producing a great food selection too. As to the bedrooms, as I said I have never yet stayed over - I live in the next village however, I can state with confidence that the people I know who have stayed over have all had a very comfortable night and a great breakfast. Well done James and your team.
Very good Sunday carvery at a good price. Around £30 for lunch for 2 including non-alcoholic drinks and coffee. If you do go for the Sunday carvery (12 to 4 - normal restaurant closed ), be aware that you get a lot of food! So for smaller eaters, go for the small plate....which strangely enough, doesn't appear to be different to the regular plate. You can have a mixture of meats (beef, Turkey, pork). Go on a sunny day and relax on the outside seating area by the lakes. Been twice in the last month.
Very friendly people, excellent food and the hotel is fantastic. The views from the rooms are all great. I stayed a few times whilst working away and would definitely be back to have a break here. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds too, and is very peaceful.
It's lovely and cozy with log fires excellent attention to detail. Planned out wedding for here and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The views of the lakes from the swab restaurant and the no hard sell Inn the packages were just what we wanted from a wedding venue. Competitive prices too.
Family wedding. Warm welcome from all the staff. Food was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Wedding coordinator did a fine job. Rooms were comfortable and well presented. Would recommend to anyone.
Called in for a coffee whilst bird watching by the Humber. Despite dishevelled appearance we were greeted well, made comfortable and enjoyed good coffee in comfort on our own. Cost seemed very reasonable and the areas we saw, well-appointed. Didn't seem over busy - we had the entire lounge to ourselves.
