Always a great time at the Surma, food is always great, staff are friendly and cater to every need, the mixed grill and onion bhaji’s are the best I’ve ever had
Really lovely tasty dishes, We ordered different dishes as I wasn't sure what I liked. Sorry about the photo as we were half way through eating before we decided to take it. We got a nice warm welcome and were made comfortable. Lovely people and a great service. Thank you we had an enjoyable meal and time.

It's my first day in Barton and I was looking for a delicious meal.
The surma was the perfect choice , the people working are so friendly and helpful.
They made sure every minute if everything was okay and they offered to help if i need anything in barton.
The food was okay, my favourite was the papadom and the sauces that came with it.
The veggie sambosa was a bit spicy but delicious.
The butter chicken was good but the rice looked like it was re heated which made it a bit chewy.
Overall, I would visit them again for sure🙏🏼

Lovely ambience, with friendly staff. Really enjoyed the "Lamb Talana" in Chefs special blend of spices.....beautiful.

Haven't been here for a few years since moving over to Hull but seen as I'm moving abroad I decided to come back one last time with my mum.
We've had some amazing Indian food in various places but for me nothing beats the food here at Surma.
We had a poppadom at first and the pickles are incredible! The starters were both amazing and the mint sauce is unbeatable its beautiful.
We shared a main of butter chicken, garlic rice and garlic nann we thought it might by too much garlic but it's subtle enough and not over done.
Overall the food is amazing and the staff are lovely!

Had an excellent meal here... the sheek kebabs were the best I've tasted in a while. The restaurant was buzzing and the food was hot and tasty. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing. Best curry night I've had in a while !!
