Great local pub, don't expect food apart from baps but that isn't what the pub is about! Great beers and good atmosphere, regular winners of good beer awards from CAMRA!
Lovely local pub in Barton where I live,staff are very nice and helpful,I have been here many times before,good beer and spirit selection, lovely outside seating area.would definitely recommend a visit.

Passing through and really looked the like of this very friendly pub, just had drinks and the staff were very welcoming.
Great pub with a warm friendly welcome from locals and staff alike. Nice fire to Cosy up too in winter and lovely selection of ales. Wished this pub could be picked up and placed in our village as we regularly make the drive to Barton to enjoy the pubs amiable atmosphere. Keep doing what you do guys
Always good for a pint and a sandwich on a Friday - make sure to ask for the beer out the barrels at the back
Great pub. I've been going to oak from a young age as my father played football for the pub for many years. Pleased to see a wet trade pub with good beer still going. Well done to Bod, Kate and the team.

Lovely lunch time pint, roll and crisps and very friendly landlord. Can't ask anything else of a classic country pub. Pay a visit or we are going to lose these gems
Just a quick stop off on a hot day for a cool refreshment. Also served cobs for a quick snack, friendly landlord, would recommend.
We used it as meeting place for our motorcycle group. Landlord made us all feel welcome, beer served on pump or from the cask, we had pedigree from the cask superb pint, looking forward to going back.
First visit and was made to feel very welcome. Lovely country pub, great for a drink as food is not served but atmosphere very good being traditional. Will visit again

Visited The Royal Oak on Sunday 04 August 2019 after calling in at a local open NGS garden in Barton . The Royal Oak is a traditional local pub with a car park at the front and right-hand side.
The bar serving area is unusually sunken lower than the two public rooms .
