We sat outside and had a great Turkish meal. Three course for 2 adults and 1 child cost ~£100 with a couple of drinks each. The food was excellent, staff were attentive but gave us enough space too and were engaging with my son which made his happy. Would definitely recommend, especially the hot platter starter and yoghurt lamb shish!

This place is wonderful, the service is very good and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is busy and you do need to book in advance. There are plenty of choices on the menu and very reasonable prices. Food was very tasty and excellent quality and beautifully presented, taste was excellent. Well, it's worth a visit, and we will go back again. Well, we did go back again and had a wonderful meal and great atmosphere. They have built a new conservatory, which is fabulous. The food was again beautifully cooked and very well presented, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great food with attentive and polite service. Good size portions that were served hot and was great to see it busy, especially with a lot of food venue closures in the news. It's definitely a positive addition to Barry. The only suggestion would be to lower the lights to make a more cosy ambience. Would definitely return and recommend.

Delicious food and welcoming staff. If you sit outside there is a bit of a view to the Barry Island. We got a mixed grill and hot plate starter to share between the two of us and it worked out great. Recommended.

Great food! Friendly staff. They answered a lot of questions (the same question over and over really) about which menu items were suitable for a gluten free diet. 7 of us had a meal there and everybody was impressed with the quality of the food. The flavours in the mixed grill made me say “oh man…”

Absolutely lovely place. Staff are so polite, and the food was very good. One of the young staff members even explained the dish we ordered. Love a restaurant that has knowledge of what they are serving. Good size portions and quick service. Arrived ravenous, left feeling like a whale. But it was worth it.

8 of us went for food for my son in laws birthday, the staff were friendly & attentive, always making sure we were OK. Food was delicious & good size portions. They played music & brought a dessert with candle for the birthday boy, so thoughtful. He was embarrassed but really enjoyed. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Great little Turkish restaurant, food was fantastic, really enjoyed our evening there. Only one negative and its a very small one is the acoustics, we found it very hard to hear one another when the place was full due to the sound levels being echoed around, once people started to leave it was a lot more pleasurable.

Some of the best Turkish food I’ve ever had. The staff were awesome and happy to have a banter. The atmosphere was really chilled and the meal was absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to go back and have the exact same thing! So much flavour. It’s also perfectly located just across the road from The Ship Inn so if you fancied making a night of it, have a few beers n the ship then head across for some food.
